World Cup - Day 1 Update: Group Stages




The World Cup today kicked of and there was 2 teams in action, Japan v Egypt and Argentina v Czech Republic.

Japan 1-1 Egypt
Nothing could separate this game today, Koji Kishida scored in the 42nd minute and gave Japan a exciting lead but Ibrahim Awad then leveled on the 51st minute.

Argentina 2-0 Czech Republic
Argentina today shown there class beating the World Cup holders 2-0 on the first day of the tournament, Javier Pastore scored on the 27th minute and Gustavo Salva then made it 2-0 on the 38th minute. Zdenyak Zebroski played the entire game and received a average rating of 6.3
what the hell happened to Man City!?!? Atleast I can finally leave :)

World Cup - Day 2 Update: Group Stages

There was 3 games in action today Belarus v Uruguay, Ivory Coast v Canada and Costa Rica v Congo.

Belarus 1-0 Uruguay
Belarus enjoyed a great win over Uruguay as many was expecting Uruguay to demolish then and it all came down to a own goal by Martin Gamarra which gave Belarus the lead and the 3 vital points.

Ivory Coast 2-4 Canada
Canada managed to somehow record a fantastic 4-2 victory over last years runners up Ivory Coast, Ivory Coast went 2-0 up with Jean Jacques Dao scoring a penalty on the 23rd minute and Seydou Koffi scoring on the 26th minute. Pure Canadian spirit arouse among the players and Sean Jubb pulled one back in the 32nd minute, Danie Habber scored 1 minute later in the 33rd minute and Victor Manon scored two goals in the 46th and 66th minute making it 4-2.

Costa Rica 3-0 Congo
Costa Rica will be hoping to qualify to the knockout rounds this year, Adrian Sanchez put them in front on the 24th minute, Carlos Soto then made it 2-0 on the 49th minute and Alexander Jara sealed the deal on the 56th minute.

World Cup - Day 3 Update: Group Stages




There was 3 games in action today Spain v Italy, Belgium v Germany and Nigeria v Mexico.

Spain 0-1 Italy
Italy came out on top today after a brilliant result against Spain, Fabrizio Catalano scored for Italy on the 44th minute and it was enough to secure all 3 points. Gianluigi Buffon Jr. played the entire match and received a average rating of 7.9.

Belgium 1-2 Germany
Belgium lost out today to Germany despite going 1-0 up though Christian Benteke on the 38th minute, Nektarios Tsochantaris then equalised on the 66th minute and just 30 seconds later Marcin Waldoch made it 2-1. Paul Bolsens played 66 minutes and received a rating of 6.1 while Dylan Herremans came on the in the 66th minute and received a rating of 6.7.

Nigeria 1-2 Mexico
A great first win for Mexico over Africa giants Nigeria, Mexico went 1-0 up through Juan Manuel Fuentes on the 1st minute and then added there second through Jorge Enriquez on the 28th minute, Nigeria pulled a goal back from Kennedy Jeremiah on the 88th minute but it was too late, Lutor Tar played the entire game and received a match rating of 6.3.
We want the other part of women's genitalia ;)
I'M FINALLY IN PREMIER LEAGUE TEAM OF THE YEAR! Can I go now?

And I scored in Champions League final against Real!!! :D
Why did my former team mate, James King, didn't let me have my moment of glory and scored two goals to give Champions League to them :(

World Cup - Day 4 Update: Group Stages

There was 3 games in action today Romania v France, Columbia v Australia and Portugal v Brazil.

Romania 2-2 France
The highly anticipated game couldn't be decided despite Romania being 2-0 up! Nicusor Stanciu scored on the 6th minute and Alexandru Maxim put them 2-0 up just before half time, Raphael Scott then went crazy in the changing rooms and threatened to murder everyone if they didn't get a point so Loic Gros scored in the 1st minute of the second half and then Nassim Munch made it 2-2 in the 65th minute. Cosmin Marian Stanila received a average rating of 7.0 while Cristian Cazan won the man of the match with a rating of 8.2. Raphael Scott received a rating of 6.9.

Columbia 3-2 Australia
Columbia came out on top today with Hernan Castro scoring two and James Rodriguez scoring their third goal, Will Parker and Josh Treloar pulled two back for Australia.

Portugal 0-2 Brazil
Two goals in 2 minute was good enough for Brazil as Neymar and Danilo Santana both scored in the 14th and 15 minute making it enough to secure a vital, vital 3 points. Delroy Wilberhand received a match rating of 6.5 while Brazils Danilo Santana received a match rating of 6.8.

There was 3 games in action today China v Poland, Qatar v Ghana and Turkey v U.S.A.

China 0-2 Poland
Poland had to win this game to stand a chance of qualifying due to having such a difficult group and win they did, Lukasz Ksiezyc scored on the 47th minute and Lukasz Kedziora then made it 2-0 with a penalty on the 88th minute. Mark Peter Kolatowicz received a average rating of 6.9

Qatar 1-1 Ghana
It seems Ghana need to sort there discipline out after Prince Sackey and Mark Adaumu both got sent off but still managed to pull a point out of the bag, Prince Sackey scored in the 36th minute and Jasper Uweaegbulam equalised for Qatar in the 76th minute.

Turkey 1-0 U.S.A
Everyone thought U.S.A had a easy group but it seems Turkey have shown them otherwise Okan Ogan scored for Turkey in the 74th minute. Mark Mayhem received a average rating of 8.3, Neal Hasan receieved a average rating of 6.5, Sheldon Cooper received a average rating 7.0 and Jason Hunt received a average rating of 8.0.
Iz it just me or poland is a strong team in the future? :|
i'm a bit behind now but woohoo, player of the year in ligue 1, in team of the year for ligue 1 and scored in the cup final we lost 3-2 lol. C'mon goal in the world cup final ;)
