2013-05-06 10:13#98138 k1rups : Good luck with this...I started off a save unemployed and went to a job in Australia haha but it is really fun seeing how far you can take your career

Hmm, I'm a couple of months into the save and fun isn't the word I'd use so far, but I'll stick with it. :P

My First Job - Hayes & Yeading

http://www.corbytownfc.co.uk/resources/uploads/news/Hayes___Yeading_United_FC12-112339.png

Coventry, Swindon, Oldham, Lincoln & Luton where all quick to turn down my applications, I wasn't at all surprised to be honest. Hayes & Yeading on the other hand took awhile longer to reply and I was half expecting them to say no as well but as things turn out they want to give me a chance at my first taste of football management, I hope they know what they are letting themselves in for..

So here we go, my adventure in lower league management begins. I have to admit I know next to nothing about Hayes & Yeading or the Blue Square Bet South but I’m up for the challenge. The board have told me they would like a comfortable mid table finish this season, I'm sure I can deliver that, how hard can it be?
Good luck at H&Y, this will be a very nice start to your career! :)
Good luck at the club, I have high hopes for you...

My Squad – At a Glance

http://i42.tinypic.com/skvosp.jpg

Well what can I say..if I’m being completely honest and blunt apart from one or two players the squad is terrible. The awesomely named Pele and young Kudos Oyenuga are the only players with any real quality. I’m lacking in many areas of the pitch and all of a sudden the task at hand seems to have gotten a lot harder.

Something else quickly struck my attention, and it’s the fact that we only have seventeen players, six of which are here on a non-contract basis and could leave at any time. This Blue Square Bet South league is a slog and the games seem to come think and fast, I’m bound to be picking up injuries and suspensions.

It’s decided that if I’m going to stand any chance of matching the board’s ambitions of a mid table finish I’m going to have to bring in some fresh faces to the club. I’m aiming to bring in two or three quality additions with a few more to make up the numbers. Lets see how I can do this with £0 transfer budget and a massive £500 to spend of wages - it should be fun.

Pele

Although he’s at the ripe old age of 34 Pele still has a lot to offer the club. The ex-Southampton and West Brom man can operate comfortably at both centre back and defensive midfield. His experience will be key for us this season.

Kudos Oyenuga

I can’t wait to seee Kudos play this season, I really think his acceleration and pace is awesome for this level of football and I really think he’s going to frighten defenders when he gets the chance to stretch his legs. He could have a big future in the game if things go right, fingers crossed.
That defence needs strengthening quickly! Andrew Nicholas as a freebie, I think. Anyway, good luck with H&Y! :)

Thanks for your continued support!
Kudos becomes a great player mate can score around 20 goals a season if he is played right. Good luck.

Cheers mate, if i'm honest he hasn't had the best of starts so far but everything can change.
Good luck mate!

Cheers pal!
Good luck with this. Kudos looks really good for a lower league player.
Pele? Wow I thought he was retired. An absolute Santos legend!

Oh wait.
