He's gone, the greatest manager in the history of the beautiful game. United are in disarray and confusion, why did he do it so suddenly? David Moyes and Jurgen Klopp were singled out as potential successors, even Mourinho was thrown into the hat. But one applicant, relatively unknown stood above the rest. Sir Alex picked him personally himself after viewing the applicant forms of over 15 managers, this man was chosen. Out of the 18 applicants he was the most unlikely, he even said so himself! But Fergie saw potential and the Glazers saw dollar signs. 25 years old, younger than quite a lot of Manchester Uniteds team. But he doesn't take crap and will severely punish anyone who steps out of line and challenges him. He was up for the challenge and showed a hunger and desire greater than most other managers. He is already drawing up tactics and match plans, scouting youngsters and scoping out the superstars of the next generation. His name is Nathaniel Mair and he is ready to take Manchester by storm.
Will follow mate.

I will follow
A very nice start, good luck! :)
Mair entered the office. He acknowledged the board of directors with a handshake to each. They began to speak, David Gill kicking things off.
"So are you happy with the contract that we have agreed?" he asked
"Yes, I agree with all the terms and conditions of it and am happy to begin working for you" Mair replied
"That's fantastic then" Said David, "But theres one last term we want to add in"
"Okay, what is it" asked Mair
"That you sign at least 2 of the following players inside this envelope" said Gill.
He handed the envelope to Mair and left the room along with the other directors.

Mair opened the envelope tentatively not knowing what player names to expect. As he opened the envelope the pictures of 6 high quality players appeared. They were:

So he decided to ask his coaching staff(YOU GUYS!) who he should sign, suggestions appreciated!
Who will you sign? This will be a certain headache for any manager! Nice second post, keep it going :)

For me, it has to be Ronaldo and Gotze, they are world beaters :)

Great start good luck for your story!

I would try to sign Bale.
Falcao and Rodriguez, both possible and both brilliant.
Good luck!
Alright Lads, Thanks for the suggestions! However Gotze wasn't on the list and Ronaldo will cost a bomb so I'm not sure about that, I was thinking more Bale and Baines to be honest!
And yeah RamKebab, they are both quality and potentially affordable
For me it'd be Begovic and Falcao.

Goetze isn't even on the list haha.
PLAYER OUT

In an incredible turn of events Ashley Young has been sold by Manchester United for a reported £18.25 million to Arsenal. When asked to comment Mair said "Well to be quite honest he is one of the worst players ever to grace a Man United shirt apart form the likes of Bebe and Anderson, he has a tendency to dive and I hate diving and he just wasn't in my plans." Rumours have it that the sale of Young is because United are trying to accumulate funds to sign Gareth Bale, however these rumours are unconfirmed by Mair or the club.
Begovic and Falcao.

PLAYER OUT

After the shock departure of ASHLEY YOUNG, Mair has decided to continue the exodus and sell Patrice Evra. The former captain of the side has been offloaded in a £14 million deal to PSG, surely paving the way for Leighton Baines to join the club. Mair was not available for comment.
