Last Month(May) Fixture Roundup
So as you can see above I was 5 points clear with 3 games to go.
My next game was against
Manchester City at the
Etihad. A tough game obviously and things did nto go to plan.
With
Chelsea beating
Wigan this meant the gap was now only 2 points. Was the title slipping from our grasp?
Next up was a home game against
Sunderland at
Old Trafford. We played well and were unlucky to only score 2.
Chelsea also stuttered to a 1-0 win over
Aston Villa with
Juan Mata scoring, meaning the Premier League title was going to go to the last day. If United beat West Brom at
Old Trafford they would win the title. But first there was the small matter of the FA Cup.
As you can see it didnt go at all to plan, it was an even game and
Villa, who got relegated, edged it in the end.
Now the biggest game of the season. A win would see
United take the title.
A fantastic result, one of my best ever results on Football Manager saw me take the crown of Premier League Champions. West Brom just couldn't stop my team as we absolutely steam rolled them with
Rooney at the heart of it.
Chelsea didn't even win their game in the end, a 1-1 draw with QPR.
The Final Premier League Table
