Mair sat in his office pondering the BIG name players he had been told to sign 2 of. He had narrowed the shortlist to 6 but knew he really needed to narrow it to 4.

Gareth Bale
Leighton Baines
Bastian Schweinsteiger
Asmir Begovic
Robert Lewandowski
He had considered the advice of his coaches and he knew 2 of the 4 man shortlist but couldn't decide on the other 2. As he deliberated he remembered how Asmir Begovic Robert Lewandowski had broken his knee recently and automatically removed him form the list. Bale and Falcao were definitely on the 4 man shortlist, along with Schweinsteiger but he was unsure whether Baines or Begovic should be the final man. As he thought about it he decided that the left back role was the role he needed to prioritise as he had just sold the clubs best left back in Patrice Evra. He crossed out Begovic's name, his shortlist was complete.

It is rumoured Bale may have cost 35 million plus Valencia and that he will be on a contract worth 160k per week. RamKebab, I disagree mate! I feel Young and Valencia are both distinctly average and that having Bale is better than having both of them! I also have Nani, Kagawa and Giggs who can all play wide if necessary! Oh and Welbeck.
