2013-06-11 19:35#111371 Justice : Doing well, that Morecambe match must have been thrilling!
It certainly was, but it was nervous too. When we were leading 5-4 i was so scared and they had chances to make it 5-5
Good luck with pushing for 1st with these results you could do it

Vinnie Jones: Pre-match interview

Hello Vinnie and welcome to your first pre-match press conference. Now Vinnie you have been pretty successful so far, but now you face what is arguably your toughest task yet. You face the league leaders, Oxford United. Do you think you can pull through and win?

We can beat anyone on our day. If you stuck us in the Nou Camp on a good day, we would demolish them. You think Pique will be able to deal with Midson, Boulding and Alexander. Sweeney would pass Barcelona off the park single-handedly. Messi wouldn't get past Balkestein or Mitchel-King in a million years. You know what I'm gonna try and organise a friendly against them. I will show you all.

OK, then. So do you think that if you win today, you could go on and win the title?

Of Course. You know what I'm gonna tell you my ambition for this club.
The FA cup and do you know what that means?

Yes I do. That means European football

Exactly, so ultimately that is what I want for this club. Then maybe we won't have to pay Barcelona to play them.

Vinnie, last question

Nah, I can't be bothered. I'm going to pour wine in the players water bottle. They won't know what hit them.

Which players?

You'll find out on Saturday.

I like how Vinnie is ranting about how his players can deal with Barca and the journalist is like "Ok, then." :))

Yep, I'm actually going to try and organise it, but it will cost A LOT

Journalist's thought while listening to Vinnie explain about Barca:

Damn, this guy sure does talk some bull s**t. I betta pretend to acknowledge what he's saying. *sigh*

Thank You

Hey guys thank you very much for 100 replies and 2000 views. I absolutely love doing this story, it's so fun to write about Vinnie's madness. I hope to keep this story going strong alongside my Hotseat project. I'm not very ambitious so my target is to achieve my goals by the release of FM14.

The Dons fly to the top

AFC Wimbledon have gone to the top of the Npower League 2 table by beating title rivals Oxford. It was a very poor game in truth with the only goal of the game coming from Rory Boulding. He met Peter Sweeney's corner at the near post to put AFC in front after 55 minutes. The Dons management team were extremely happy with the result, however, manager Vinnie Jones said in the press conference that there is a long way to go and that many things can change from here. It was his first serious press conference. He also added that the team had been raring to go in training and could not wait to play their title rivals.

"The boys were extremely happy with the win today, it took a lot of preparation because we knew these guys were good. However we also knew that we could beat them if we put in maximum effort and the boys did that today and I am very happy with the result".

He went on to say this:
" It's going to be hard at the top of the table, no one here really has experience on it. I'm sure we will learn and we'll be able to cope. It's just that we need to stop these silly losses, having said that the teams in League 2 are all very well matched, one season you could be challenging for promotion, the next you are fighting relegation. That's what makes English football so good".
