So that is a very strong squad that Sir Alex has gone with, it has a lot of midfielders but he is insistant that he needs them.

Pre Season

Aston Villa had a good pre season. They capitalised on signing Ki and went to play two matches in South Korea. They drew with West Ham in the first game but then went on a scoring spree and the team seemed to Gel well. Agbonlahor carried on his good form from the end of last season and now with Hulk also in the ranks this Villa team should be feared.
Until the first month is over that is all for now.

Villa Make Storming Start To The Season

Aston Villa started where they left off at the end of last season by making a very strong start to the 2014/2015 season and have really banged in the goals this month. Sir Alex, responsible for the upturn in form said 'We could go all the way this season as long as our squad stays fit. We dont have any European matches this season but our rivals do. Man Utd, Man City, Tottenham and Newcastle are all in Europe. We could have our best chance we will ever have to be right up there at the end.'
With Villa lying in the top 4 at the end of the first month and new signings Hulk, Walcott and Willian performing well the sky is the limit for the Villans. Add to that Villa for the first time since Fergie has took over have got through round 3 of the Capital One Cup it could be a good season.

Aston Villa got out of jail here by claiming a point they should never have claimed. Ron Vlaar and James Tomkins showed the Villa attack line how to do with two headers from corners. Sir Alex locked his team in the dressing room for upto 45 min reports are mounting that Eugene Konoplyanka was hit in the head by a stray boot.

Theo Walcott might not have scored in this rout of Stoke but he set up FIVE goals as Hulk got off the mark in the Premier League. Giovanni Dos Santos got in on the act too as Sir Alex said this was the most complete performance he has seen since becoming Boss of the midlands team 2 years ago. 'Stunning performance' said a happy Sir alex and it is what you call recovering from the Southampton result. Stoke had not lost to Villa in the 4 matches against them since Fergie took charge but this all changed.

Well as you can see Villa sitting a top of the Premier League and Theo Walcott sitting top of the assist charts but there is ofcourse a long long way to go.
Amazing win over stoke, keep it up :D
@Lucas It is the incredible hulk :)
Shame Man. City can't be as good in real life as the are in this save.

More to the point, if you keep up this good start, Villa4thetitle :D
@TheMs Thanks I am unbeaten in the league now since February last season :)
Nice to see Hulk and Walcott having the instant impact you wanted, poor stoke though... that was just mean lol
@Ziecheal It was not mean at all lol i wanted more, Walcott will have poor games and Hulk did vs Southampton but in tomkins and Vlaar I have a awesome partnership I also had 9 players called up to the england squad including both my left backs lol and clyne
What a thrashing against Stoke! More of them results and the title can't be far away :D
Great start to the season!
@K1rups I think so too :)

Villa Players Amonst The Awards and Fergies Fued with Mancini Intensifies

Today Sir Alex Ferguson got third place for the month of August in the Premier League. Roberto Mancini who only played two games this month got the Manager Of The Month Award and Sir Alex didn't agree with that. 'We ended the month undefeated' said an angry Sir Alex. 'We stuffed Stoke 8-0 and beat Swansea the way they work these points out is absurb' with that Fergie stormed off.

Player Of The Month

Aston Villa got two entries here but were beaten by Blackburns Joshua King. Elliott Bennett got second. Bennett since joined has worked hard got into the team and stayed there. He was even the shock call up for the World Cup in Brazil. He was signed for £2,300,000 and is now worth around £11,000,000. That is what you call a bargain.

In third is the re-emergance of Giovanni Dos Santos. The Mexican who now has opposition in the form of Wellington Nem and Jack Grealish for his left attacking midfielder spot showed his worth this month with some fine performances.

Young Player Of The Month

Will Hughes is making this award his own at the moment by picking up another one of these, but how long until he gets the player of the month. Only time will tell but he was happy to pick it up again but even happier now that Villa are in the right end of the table. 'there were times a coupld of seasons ago when I thought where will Sir Alex take this team, I am glad I hung around to find out.

So Villa are doing well, Hulk and Walcott are performing but the usual guard are back in form too next update is the end of February.
Elliot Bennett! What a pro!
