This has been down to the goals from Jamie Cureton and Jamie wooton upfront and the passing from Gary Jones in the center of the park. It is now time for kick off:

Teams

Goals from Luke Rooney and Michail Antonio send Basingstoke out of the FA Cup

Biscan “ The club has done very well to reach this round and all credit to their performance we were favourites to get absolutely slaughtered 5-0 but it was a respectable 2-0 loss”
A good run in the cup there mate, sheff wed are a tough team to beat with the lower league teams... you did well to get the initial draw.

Luton Town

Basingstoke Town have received a formal approach from Luton town for manager Igor Biscan and have allowed him to hold talks with the Blue Square Premier club.

They have requested that he keeps them in the Blue Square Premier League with 60 K to spend which is a lot more than he currently gets at Basingstoke.

Biscan "I had an agreement of three years with my chairman, who has been loyal and supportive. I had the opportunity to pay back that loyalty after my second season here and will the job I have started through and will not be joining Luton Town”

“After speaking with our chairman about that I wanted certain things done internally for me to stay. That meant investing in a new training ground, which we are 12 months away from. It meant investing in the structure of the Under-21s and trying to keep the players we wanted to keep, he has agreed and I have signed a new 5 year deal with the club"

Top at new Year

Igor Biscan must be the best manager at his level as he has rejected two offers one from Luton town and one from Portsmouth.

The reason you may be asking ,he started the season with just 10 players and little budget and now has 22 players and two international players with 4 wonder kids that are destined for bigger things. He reached the FA Cup 2nd round and only got beat by Sheffield Wednesday in a replay while they are in the 3rd round of the FA Trophy.

Having played 19 games this season in the league they’ve won 12 drawn 3 and lost 4 leading the Blue Square South by 4 points with a game in hand. In recent months they’ve beat Maidenhead 7-2 , Hornchurch 2-0 , Canvey Island 3-2, Sutton 4-0 and Staines 3-0 and have only lost one game since the FA CUP replay against Oxford 3-1 but Igor only had 16 player to choose from due to injuries and suspensions.

Plymouth's Calling

Igor Biscan must be the best manager at his level as he has rejected two offers one from Luton Town and one from Portsmouth.

But now he has left Basingstoke not for the job he has been offered by Plymouth but to see his ill mother in Croatia and Bruno Cheyrou will take over the next couple of weeks

Cheyrou “ Igor’s mum is very ill and the club have asked me to take over will he leaves and stays with his mother, family is more important right now and we must think about that and id like to win these next four games for his mother and her health”

Biscan “ I have a contract and I will honour it and I will stay here to finish the job I started “
Very well done with the team mate! Looks like Biscan has got his management style and tactics spot on! Stick with the team for a while I'd say

Bury FC Welcome Igor Biscan

Igor Biscan is the new manager of Bury FC
The Basingstoke boss has agreed to move to Gigg Lane and will join the club with immediate effect.
Biscan’s' future has been in doubt for several months, after he led his non league team to the FA Cup 2nd round had already refused job offers from Cheltenham, Luton, Portsmouth, Port Vale and Plymouth Argyle and, following Kevin Blackwell’s resignation 'The Shakers' have acted quickly to land the former Liverpool chief.

Biscan” I felt the time was right to leave Basingstoke they’ve have been a fantastic team to mamnage and I wish them all the best for the rest of the season , if we went up I wouldn’t of had a problem but if we didn’t gain promotion we would lose 12 players again due to contracts and retirements and I could face starting a season with less then 12 players again. Bury are in a great position sitting 4th in the only one point behind Oxford and Rotherham”

Since the Croatian took over he has won all of his five games beating Fleetwood, Portsmouth, Shewsbury, Cheltenham and Torquay leaving his team 2nd in the league and Biscan’s Era has already began at Bury who are situated in the Football capital area ( The North West), If they secure promotion Biscan will find himself in League One and since his Liverpool days hes grown from strength to strength.

Furthermore Biscan won his first ever Manager of The Month Award in his first month at Bury and they are the form team in the league and are set to earn promotion.

Bury Secure Promotion

Igor Biscan is the man of the moment in Bury , securing their first promotion in 4 years and taking them back to League One.

His team did it in a fashionable style hammering Rochdale 5-0 away from home in the penultimate game of the season and secured 2nd place as a result.

"It all starts now for me because the minute we kick off next season we're on a hiding to nothing," said Biscan.
"We've got to make sure we can compete and I want to stay there.
It's what's inside their hearts and how much they work for you. To me they're Bury heroes. This promotion, with the money in League One, means everything. The club can build to the future with some good young talent. This club can go from strength to strength.."

Biscan since taking over on March 8th has won 9 out of 12 games and only suffered two defeats against Port Vale and Bristol Rovers. His highlights include a 5-0 thrashing of Rochdale and beating run away leaders Gillingham 2-1 on the last day of the season to finish 5 points ahead of Bristol Rovers. The Player of the year award went to Tom Soares who scored 13 goals and had 8 assists with Craig Fagan 2nd and Marcus Marshall 3rd
Good updates there mate I can see I made the wrong call haha you're on an upward climb in the management world after crashing down after Liverpool! Bury are flying and some very good results keep it up

Biscan’s Vision

The plan is to reach the Premier League within 10 years and be an attractive team to play for. To this we will need new investors and a new state of the art stadium and facilities by doing this we can secure the long term future of Bury FC and put them were they belong back in the 1st Division the league were we will be able to attract new and well known players.

To this we need to earn two promotions in eight years and to start to win trophies my first aim is to win the JPT within the next two seasons and this year I would like to achieve a mid table finish and push on from there with a young squad and build to the ultimate goal.

When we reach the Championship I want to win either the FA Cup or League Cup or even both within 2 years of entering that division to show how committed we are to our new vision. We will call this The Revolution Has began #BuryAreBack
