October Round Up

It's been a tough month, but we battle through and got some important results. Beating top of the table Stalybridge 1-0 was a massive confidence booster.

Dropping down a place or two was not something i was hoping for. Still the table is quite tight, a loss could potentially see us drop down to 11th, and a win up into 2nd!

Player Of The Month

Always consistent, and putting it good performances. His first international goal was a major boost to his confidence.

Game Of The Month

A very important win against top of the table. A good performance all around too.
Woot, clean sheet against the top team.
Very close still at the top, a good finish to the season and we'll stand a good chance of promotion here :)
What tactic are you using? and who are the starting XI???

I'll put the tactic up later, but the Starting XI varies.
Planning on reviewing the development of the players at the end of the season?

Yes, indeed.

Crisis At FM Scout

Australian 17 year old, Corey Briggs has been denied a work permit for the renewal of his FM Scout contract. The youngster has made 9 appearances this season scoring 2 goals, and was all set to continue his career at the Bull Pen before his work permit application was turned down. A failure of work permit could possibly mean that Briggs will leave the club and have to pursue a career elsewhere.

FM Scout boss, Daniel Abbott, is livid with this decision. "It's ludicrous", he claims. "This lad has been living in England for half a year now, why should he all of a sudden be rejected for a work permit?"

With his future still in doubt, Corey will continue to play for FM Scout under a youth contract until he turns 18.
8.5 rating and the only goal against Stalybridge?!? Keep it up!
lol work permit issues, love it!

Bad news for you i'm afraid, you're out for 6 weeks. Hernia.
I knew a clean sheet was too good to be true, probably got the hernia patting myself on the back!
F***
i told you not to lift that extra weight in the gym. :-p

November Round-Up

Results

A thoroughly impressive month in the league remaining unbeaten. The cup was a bit upsetting only making it to the 1st round, but we put in a valiant effort against Luton making it a good match. However, it's not the best match of the month.

Table

We rose up to 3rd which is pleasing, and also means that we are on the slow and steady rise to the top! We also have the best goal difference in the league, which i can thank everyone for.

Player Of The Month

Amod has been very impressive this month, not only putting in the goals, but also contributing with assists. He should be a very proud man.

Game Of The Month

This is game of the month from a neutral perspective, really we should have "wiped the floor" with Chasetown, but in the end they gave us a good game. 15-14 on the penalty shoot-out, and not one of our penalties were missed. What a game. What a shoot-out.
15-14 on pens! love it... such a great month as well, good job gaffer.

Now if i could just push this thing back inside me so i could get on with playing...
Some nice updates mate interesting with the 15-14 on pens haha
