Just days after Shaun Goater announced that he had removed all affiliations involved with Manchester City the board have been busy looking for new affiliations for the club which could help the club financially through merchandising sales and improving there reputation all over the world.

Manchester City announced a link with MLS giants New England Revolution where there will be financial benefit for both clubs. Manchester City have first option to buy players from New England, New England will also host a annual friendly between the two clubs with all gate receipts going to New England.

Man City will pay New England a annual fee of £2.97m. The presence of Man City within U.S.A will be a major benefit to all merchandising sales.
Manchester City are going to have to tussle Manchester United for those merchandising opportunities :P
Unlucky start to the month, but some good wins to round it off :)

David Alaba Joins Manchester City

http://i1289.photobucket.com/albums/b513/MrJK1/1_zpsc051697c.png

Today Manchester City signed Austrian left back David Alaba from FC Bayern for a report fee of £19.75m. Shaun Goater enquired about Alaba around 1 month ago and Bayern wanted £60m for the player which City rejected and in recent days Alaba as become unhappy which resulted in Bayern transfer listing the player for £19.75 million in which Goater jumped at.

"I've been looking at signing a solid left back for a while and I've now got the player I've been wanting for a while and I'm absolutely delighted he'll be playing in Blue and not red". David Alaba as been linked with Manchester United and Chelsea since the start of the season and Goater is ecstatic that he's signed.

At only 20 years of age Alaba is certainly a player for the future and he's already got 107 appearances to his name as well as 5 goals. What does this mean for Kolarov or Clichy surely one of them if not both will be leaving in the summer.
Alaba is class and a steal at £19.75 million!

Manchester City Secure Dede Signing

http://i1289.photobucket.com/albums/b513/MrJK1/LLM/1_zps2ffd8e0f.png

Manchester City today splashed the cash on Vascos Brazilian center back Dede for a reported fee of £30m which is Goaters second highest capture after Gareth Bale who signed for £56 million in the summer. Manchester City have spent around £200m this summer and if they don't win anything then Shaun Goater will undoubtedly be sacked.

24 year old Dede started his career at Fluminense before being transferred to Volta Redonda where he spent almost 5 seasons after finally signing for Brazilian giants Vasco for £425k. He's made 106 appearances in his career and he's never played in a league other than Brazil so coming to England is somewhat new to him and he'll have to adapt to the physical style of play almost immediately as he'll be guaranteed to be in the starting line up.

Now with 5 center backs it's almost certain someone will get sold in the summer and with no appearances yet this season Matija Nastastic looks almost certain to be given the boot with Kompany, Varane and Lescott featuring all season so far.

Great signing in Alaba, great price too- overpaid on Dede but you're Man City so that doesn't matter :P
