Better than Moyes ;)

Is this the end of Fergie Time ?

Manchester United fans jeered wildly at the final whistle this afternoon after seeing their heroes humbled by arch-rivals Manchester City , but by far the biggest shock of the day came as many of the United contingent were heard to be shouting for Ferguson to be sacked after their humiliation.
Sir Alex Ferguson has been the manager at Old Trafford for 43 years, and has won every kind of championship trophy during that record time. Premier League titles, FA Cup winners, Champions League winners, Leyland DAF Van Trophy, AutoWindscreen Shield, Charity Shield, Green Shield, Johnstone's Paint Trophy, Watney Cup, and many others hardly worth mentioning have all been won under Fergie's stewardship, but many feel the end has now come for the 81-year-old Scot.

One fan, Donald Trumplethwaite, 7, said:
"Fergie out! Fergie out!"
Strong words, indeed, and there was similar sentiment from many other Reds supporters. One said:
"Fergie out! Fergie out!" just like little Donald.

Moyes Announced As Manager

Manchester United have announced David Moyes as the new manager following the departure of Sir Alex Ferguson. This news has shocked many, with Moyes approaching his 10th season as manager of Everton FC. Manchester United managing director Oliver Gill announced that David had been given a one year contract in a £2 million deal, although the contract could be extended at the end of the year.

David Moyes, who previously managed Everton FC, stated he was delighted that he was given the opportunity to manage at such a prestigious club. He told the Manchester United website that he was on the verge of signing a 5 year extension of his contract with Everton, with just 1 year remaining with his current deal. However, the offer from Manchester United was too good to turn down from the scot.

Ferguson and the board agreed that Moyes would be the perfect candidate for the job. Moyes and Ferguson have both been known to use similar styles of play, favouring the youth systems, and trying to build up squads. Ferguson was excited of the improvements Moyes made at Everton with little money, and the possibilities he could have with a larger budget at Old Trafford.

David Moyes managed to fight off possible candidates including Jose Mourinho, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Jurgen Klopp for the role as manager.

Cheeky advertising there :P But some good, good results with Villareal. THey have my favourite crest in Spain and used to be one of my favourite teams before their downfall so it's great to see them back up again.
Good results and good luck with your story
Really nice start mate :)

Financial Problems: Reserve Team Released

Villarreal have today confirmed they are financial trouble after sponsors pulled out of the club leaving them no choice but to release their second team who were easily winning Segunda Division B. Players include Olef Melberg, Iriome, Aitor Fernandez,Joselu , Javi Venta and Ramiro.

The club are understood to be now back in profit but these financial difficulties will hit the budget that Senna has to spend
Unlucky but it's for the best!

I know hopefully we can go up and get some more money and rebuild the second team

FSG: SACK RODGERS

At the start of the season FSG thought If many Liverpool fans will not accept another season of mediocrity, what pray, are the Liverpool fans going to do? Will those fans stop going to Liverpool FC games?
The American, Fenway Sports Group and John W. Henry took their time, they surveyed the finest coaching talent the world had to offer. Then asked the simple question, "Who can we easily fire, when it all goes wrong?"
Good luck to Brendan Rodgers, he'll need it, as he'll be out by Christmas, the Kop will sing to that. The Kop will be probably be singing Benitez's name, once Brendan Rodgers loses his first game. And that is what has happened Rodgers has been sacked before December and the favourite is Benitez ith Klopp second favourite

This month has been very good on the field but poor off it losing our youth team is a real blow and we will work to recreate that next year. we sit 3 points clear of Almeria , I will show you my squad and table after. POTM for October was Aquino due to his 3 MOTM , November it was Zouma great at the back and scored twice while Novembers was Juanto who was the only youth player not to be released
Hey can we get some screenshots of the squads and table? :)
