The fixtures for the new 2013/2014 season have been announced. Newly promoted clubs Paris FC, Armiens SC Football and FC Metz will finally know who they will start their new adventure against while recently relegated AC Ajaccio, SC Bastia and ESTAC Troyes will be looking for a strong start in their push for promotion.
We are joined with Franc Matin to talk us through the new fixtures.
This is how the opening home and away games look for Paris FC :
Nimes Olympique vs Paris FC - Stade Des Costieres - 31/7/13

Nimes Olympique won promotion to Ligue 2 in 2011-2012 and clinched the Championnat National title. They defied the odds and managed to stay up the following season with some very good performances. They have built their squad over pre-season and are expected to finish mid table this year.
High flying Paris FC will play their first ever Ligue 2 game against Nimes Olympique and are expected to be the "Whopping team" this season with little resources available for manager Julien Riviere to compete this season. Many believe that the experience of playing in Ligue 2 will be valuable to them as they plan the impossible task of staying up. My verdict will be a 3-0 home win.
Paris FC vs FC Metz - Stade Charlety - 3/8/13

Both newly promoted teams who may be looking for their first points off the season. Paris FC may have won the division but it is well worth noting that FC Metz picked up 6 points in the two fixtures between the teams and looked good value for their wins. Julien Riviere has always said FC Metz were his bogey team so I think it will be difficult for them. I'm going to go for a 2-1 Metz win.
