Fixtures Announced

http://i39.tinypic.com/98y1bc.jpg

The fixtures for the new 2013/2014 season have been announced. Newly promoted clubs Paris FC, Armiens SC Football and FC Metz will finally know who they will start their new adventure against while recently relegated AC Ajaccio, SC Bastia and ESTAC Troyes will be looking for a strong start in their push for promotion.

We are joined with Franc Matin to talk us through the new fixtures.
This is how the opening home and away games look for Paris FC :

Nimes Olympique vs Paris FC - Stade Des Costieres - 31/7/13

http://i42.tinypic.com/2myu6c6.pnghttp://i42.tinypic.com/5vrigm.jpg

Nimes Olympique won promotion to Ligue 2 in 2011-2012 and clinched the Championnat National title. They defied the odds and managed to stay up the following season with some very good performances. They have built their squad over pre-season and are expected to finish mid table this year.

High flying Paris FC will play their first ever Ligue 2 game against Nimes Olympique and are expected to be the "Whopping team" this season with little resources available for manager Julien Riviere to compete this season. Many believe that the experience of playing in Ligue 2 will be valuable to them as they plan the impossible task of staying up. My verdict will be a 3-0 home win.

Paris FC vs FC Metz - Stade Charlety - 3/8/13

Both newly promoted teams who may be looking for their first points off the season. Paris FC may have won the division but it is well worth noting that FC Metz picked up 6 points in the two fixtures between the teams and looked good value for their wins. Julien Riviere has always said FC Metz were his bogey team so I think it will be difficult for them. I'm going to go for a 2-1 Metz win.

Good luck for the season! I have a feeling you may need it!

I think you will easily stay up and if you have a good enough run who knows. Who said there is only one team in paris? :P

Nimes Olympique 1 - 3 Paris FC
Roufousse
Jau
Scarpelli

An incredible victory to begin our new campaign! Nobody had predicted us to even get a result against Nimes Olmpique and were expecting a cricket score! We played fantastic football and used the counter attack to great effect! New signing Scarpelli looks very sharp in front of goal and got himself on the scoresheet on his debut. I am absolutely buzzing!

We have been drawn out against FC Metz in the cup, meaning we will play them twice at home in a week
Great start mate well done!!!! :)

Paris FC vs FC Metz - Stade Charlety - Attendance 1,663

http://i42.tinypic.com/5vrigm.jpghttp://i40.tinypic.com/dfzl1j.png

Paris FC 1-0 FC Metz
Scarpelli

Finally our drought against FC Metz has been broken! Scarpelli looks such a quality player as he bagged his second goal in as many games and somehow gives us 6 out of 6 points!

Paris FC vs FC Metz - Stade Charlety - Coupe De La Ligue

http://i42.tinypic.com/5vrigm.jpghttp://i40.tinypic.com/dfzl1j.png

Paris FC 1-3 FC Metz (AET)
Partouche

Although a defeat, I am not dissappointed. I was very happy we won the league game and the fact we are out of the cup means more focus on the league. We received a nice 83k for our defeat .The extra time did take a lot out of our legs and it will be a challenge to keep our league form going

AC Ajaccio vs Paris FC - Stade Francois Coty - Attendance 3,415

http://i42.tinypic.com/rbk5mt.pnghttp://i42.tinypic.com/5vrigm.jpg

AC Ajaccio 3-2 Paris FC
Scarpelli
Roufousse

A spirited defeat against favourites to win the division AC Ajaccio. After playing 120 mins just days before, I couldn't have asked for more. The front 3 of Partouche, Scarpelli and Roufousse have looked a threat to every defence we have played so far

Paris FC vs Tours FC - Stade Charlety - Attendance 1,326

http://i42.tinypic.com/5vrigm.jpghttp://i39.tinypic.com/hriwjp.png

Paris FC 1-1 Tours FC
Roufousse

A good point against a good side. We may have beaten them in pre-season but I will take any points I can. We have proved so far that we can handle ourselves in this division and at the moment we are playing without any fear

Paris FC vs RC Lens - Stade Charlety - Attendance 2,065

http://i42.tinypic.com/5vrigm.jpghttp://i39.tinypic.com/w0nwc3.png
Paris FC 1-0 RC Lens
Mendy

What a result! RC Lens played in Ligue 1 just a few years ago and I was expecting a thumping. The truth was that we dominated the game and managed a late goal to secure all 3 points. Our center back Mendy managed a header from a corner to send our fans into ruptures!

Angers SCO vs Paris FC - Stade Jean Bouin - Attendance 6,910

http://i40.tinypic.com/2v92n7p.pnghttp://i42.tinypic.com/5vrigm.jpg

Angers SCO 0-1 Paris FC
Roufousse

Back to back wins and now I am in disbelief! How have we coped so well? We have counter attacked perfectly in most games and have caught our opponents off gaurd. I am very proud of what we have achieved so far.

Paris FC vs Chateauroux- Stade Charlety - Attendance 1,652

http://i42.tinypic.com/5vrigm.jpghttp://i41.tinypic.com/noafiv.png

Paris FC 1-1 Chateauroux
Scapelli

We finished the month witha draw against Chateauroux, and this was the only slight disappointment in the month. At the time they were 19th so I was expecting a win, but a points a point and I will take it!

Player of the month

Jonathan Roufousse was sensational this month. It was a very tough decision as Scarpelli also played a key role in our success this month, but with 4 goals and 3 assists, I can't look past Roufousse.

Paris FC are 3rd, 5 points off 1st
Some up and down results mate this month, but the third place is an amazing result! Keep it up for your second consecutive promotion (to be at the same level of my Real Oviedo)! :D

That's a healthy start. You just need to keep going. A couple of losses here and there shouldn't be a big problem.

It would be amazing to replicate your seasons! Somehow I can't see us keeping up this early form ;)
