Nice start, I will be following m8 :)

January: Exciting prospects

So we have our new owner, new kit and many new players. We'll start with the transfers first:

Our first signing of the January transfer window was a French goalkeeper called Nicolas Pichon, i bought him on a free after he was released from Stade Rennais FC (CA: PA: )

We signed another French player called Sid Ahmed Behilil, I bought him on a free after he was released from AC Arles-Avignon (CA: PA: )

And then when our new owners joined we signed the big players:

Craig Gordon: He was released from Sunderland last season due to continuous injury problems but hopefully he can find top form again with us (CA: PA: )

Matthew Bates: Another player who was released last season, but by Middlesborough. We quickly snapped him up and hopefully he can help us throughout his future years with us. (CA: PA: )

Michael Lumb: Lumb was released by Zenit St. Petersburg a few days after we bought him so I thought with my weak left-back depth I thought I'd add class to the squad. (CA: PA: )

Julien Cécout: Another French player (We're becoming Newcastle now :P) his best position is right-back but I prefer him in the defensive midfield role personally. He was released last season by Tours FC. (CA: PA: )

Jonathan Obika: A striker which I bought from Spurs (reserves) for 35k, he has had many spells on loan with different clubs, mainly Yeovil. Only 22 years old (CA: PA: )

Laurent Bonnart: Another French player, very versatile, he can play either left and right side of defence. He was released by LOSC Lille this January transfer window. (CA: PA: )

Sébastien Le Toux: An American striker who was released by New York Red Bulls at the start of this season after scoring 14 in 30 games in the previous season. (CA: PA: )

Bébé: Bought on a free this January from Man Utd (great profit there Man Utd) and although he is a winger I am looking to play him up-front. (CA: PA: )

Pavel Horvath: This is a player I buy every single save, he is extremely consistent and although he is 37 he is well worth the 90k I paid for him. (CA: PA: ).

OUT:

Tresor Kandol- Free
Will Hatfield- Alfreton- Free
Peter Murphy- Free
Sam Sodje- Barrow- Loan

A very good performance in the league, we were unlucky to be knocked out of the JPT in the semi-final, but that is an irrelevant competition.

Still sitting in first, 27 points ahead of 2nd place.

Not the most greatest ending but as a season as a whole we where unbelievable, I personally thought it would be extremely hard to get into the mid-table bit, but instead end up 33 points ahead of 2nd place, I feel very comfortable with our new owners and hopefully they'll give me a good budget and let me sign some great players!
Great Season, great points gap between you and 2nd and good luck next season!! :D

A great month to start in, but we need to improve away from home otherwise that will come back to haunt us but we find ourselves in a very respectable 4th place after 5 games.

We also agreed 4 deals before the transfer window finished:

Dariusz Dudka- Free
Nadir Belhadj- Free
Anthony Stokes- 1.4M
Dorus De Vries- 350K
Dedryck Boyata- Loan
