Lister announces 13 new signings

New Accrington Stanley manager JJ Lister has announced a total of 13, yes 13 new signings. "The last few seasons we haven't been achieving anything, all mid-table finishes and I felt it was necessary to have a full revamp of the current squad. I would like to thank Peter Marsden for trusting me with the money to revamp the squad as many people know I am inexperienced in management and have a lot to learn, but that will come in time." 3 players have come in on loan, these players are Jon Stewart (CA ), Nicholas Bignall (CA ) and Andy Bond (CA ) all the others are free agents, these players are: Denis Tsoumou (CA ), Hendricks Cakin (CA ), Sam Sodje (CA ), Marc Giraudon (CA ), Sebastien Robert (CA ), Jurgen Heinrichs (CA ), Joel Kouassi (CA ), Dimitrijus Guscinas (CA ), Florian Hube (CA ) and Trésor Kandol (CA ).

The Season so far

What a season we have had so far! A MASSIVE 23 points ahead of 2nd place and there are three automatic promotion places! We entered September with a bad 3-2 loss to Rochdale with Nicholas Bignall and Dimitrijus Guscinas scoring our goals. We then drew to 2nd placed Gillingham with Pádraig Amond getting our goal in a 1-1 draw. Then came the most embarrassing losses to Wycombe as we lost 3-0 to them. We then started a HUGE winning streak with a 2-1 win against Northampton with Bignall and Guscinas getting our goals. We then played AFC Wimbledon which we won 2-0 with Guscinas and Pádraig Amond with our goals. We won 2-0 in our next game against Aldershot with Weatherson and Amond getting our goals. We then beat Burton Albion 4-1 with Weatherson getting a hat-trick and Guscinas with our goals. We then came up against Chesterfield with Weatherson and Guscinas with our goals. We then won 2-1 against Torquay United with loanees Andy Bond and Bignall with our goals. We then had a very tough game against League 1 side Crewe Alexandra, or so we thought it was going to be tough as we won an emphatic 5-0 with Amond getting a brace and Guscinas getting a hat-trick. We then went back to League 2 action against Southend United which we won 3-0 with Pádraig Amond getting two and Guscinas getting the other one. Then came an eventful 5-2 win against Morecambe, Guscinas and Amond got two and Bignall got the 5th. We then scraped a 1-0 win against Barnet with Peter Weatherson getting the win. We then played our 1st FA Cup game against Southend and won 2-0. We beat Fleetwood 2-1 and beat Oxford with a big scoreline of 4-0 with Amond and Bignall getting two goals. We then went on a string of 4 1-0 wins in a row against York, Bradford, Exeter and Cheltenham. We then lost 3-0 against Hartlepool in the 2nd round of the FA Cup. We then beat Bury, Rotherham, Port Vale and Plymouth 2-1, 2-0, 3-1 and 3-0. We then had a huge scoreline of 6-1 against Dagenham and Redbridge with Guscinas and Nicholas Bignall getting two and Andy Bond and Pádraig Amond getting one. We beat Rochdale 2-0 and then had a very entertaining game against Gillingham with Pádraig Amond with all 4 goals.
