Before start of match i told my players to win this trophie for themself but for the fans to. Ademi, Pinto, Simunic and Soudani looked motivated. I was not nervous. With information i collected from third party tbendis, staff room and other i was fully convinced that Hajduk players will not take trophie. In first five minute Soudani scored, i was thinking that we are on the way to put black dot on the game but 5 minutes later all went wrong Kiš scored and we were leveled but surely not on pitch where my players did too many mistakes while Hajduk was in total control down and up the pitch so they put two goals more before half time. In dressing room i was trying to motivate team and calm defenence but it didnt change to score and didnt change the game. Full match ended 1:4 and i was very unhappy because i didnt expect such scenario. I was looked them, i had staff and friends outside and didnt expect such scenario. After game it was very tought for me, i was in my favorite club, dream of managing the club and was defeated with eternal rival in first game on Maksimir. After that we won easy Shirak at Maksimir but i looked players and they startet to belive in themself after third goal or better next half and that is too much because we were trough in first leg away in Armenia and i couldnt see them turn around game, well at least after Hajduk so i was in stress a little but players put big score and i was proud on them but i knowed that we facing next game again with Hajduk at Poljud. After Shirak players were in good mood i but i wanned to be more than that. Of course i knowed too much motivation can bring players belive in them too much and forgot that we must be very carefull. They must not think that they already win this game because it is not Shirak. We are facing a team with lot of young talented player with Tudor manage them so they will for sure need to do more than against Shirak. Next day after Shirak i was next day in Holland to see Hajduk once again. It was boring match and Hajduk has losed 0:1 with last game advantage to Honved (2:2) at Poljud. I do not belive that will shake the team just like that. So whatewer i wanned to motivate my players how much i can to ensure that Supercup score repeats.
