Gremio stars Ronaldinho Gaucho and Kelvin have both scooped the big prizes of the night following the end of the Gaucho State Season.
Ronaldinho and co. helped Gremio to retain the Championship and has been awarded with the Gaucho Player of the Season award.
The former World Player of the Year who had a slow start to the season, scored a total of 6 goals and assisted six times in 11 appearances as the 33 year old fininshed ahead Internacional’s Leandro Damiao and teammate Eduardo Vargas.
Gremio winger Kelvin completed the ‘Imortal Tricolor’ new boys’ swoop for the top prize after fighting off competition from teammates Dudu and Bertoglio.
Kelvin who joined from Porto in January, scored a whopping 12 goals in 13 games to clinch the Young Player of the Year award.
RONALDO DROPS BRAZIL HINT
Gremio boss Ronaldo has hinted at a move to Brazil’s Under 20 national team after admitting it would be hard to turn down his own nation.
The Brazilian Federation are yet to appoint a manager ahead of the Under 20 World Cup in Turkey this summer and Ronaldo’s name has been linked with the job after an impressive start to his managerial career.
After winning the Gaucho State Championship last week, the Brazilian icon has expressed his interest in a future national job if an opportunity were to present itself.
“I would love to manage Brazil one day at any level. I have always said how much I owe to Brazilian football and it’s hard for anybody to think of me without the Brazilian shirt so it’s a possibility.
“I don’t think I could ever turn the job down but for now I am here as Gremio manager. I have a contract and project here to complete. I don’t know of any approaches from anyone but if it was to happen I would remain at Gremio too.”

SPURS HUNT FERNANDO
Tottenham Hotspur could be set to launch an £18.75 million bid for Gremio’s holding midfielder Fernando.
According to Fernando’s agent, interest in the player is high with Spurs and Paris Saint-Germain thought to be the two clubs holding the Brazilian with high regards.
Andre Villas-Boas has refused to comment on the matter as speculation intensifies but Gremio boss Ronaldo has stated before the club would sell if the price was right due to financial difficulties.
Fernando, who has been capped four times for Brazil, has been a focal part of Gremio’s State Champion side after appearing a total of 19 times since January.
Any agreement would see Fernando move to White Hart Lane by July 1st at the earliest pending the official opening of the British transfer window.

It's with great sadness that I inform you all about the premature end of the Craque Heads - Gremio story.
I don't know how or why exactly, but as I loaded up my save, I was welcomed with a different one, meaning I had somehow overwritten the Gremio save. I don't know how this happened but I just felt like flushing my laptop down the toilet.
I would like to take this opportunity to apologise to all the readers and fans of this story. I'm as gutted as you are but I guess the overwriting is ultimately my fault. The support I have received on this story has been overwhelming and having gotten over 3,000 views in 86 replies shows how successful this was (I think, by my standards at least).
Life goes on and although I still remain in search of that trademark story, I still haven't given up hope. I was thinking of a Athletic Bilbao story (Only Basque players challenge) but I've not decided which story to begin yet along with my Portugal adventure. Please leave a comment below on any suggestions you may have.
