Another great update. It is a shame that you have been knocked out the UCL but maybe the Europa League is a more winnable competition for you. Keep up the great work on this story!

Yeah but still it is the Europa League. I hope to reach the semi-finals at least :P

Thnaks for the comment on SOTM means a lot :D
Well guys in April 2012 I joined a site called FMSCOUT. I was new to the game and enjoyed the layout of the site so much I registered as a member. I was not very active I just sat and viewed stories and looked at ways to improve myself at FM.

When FM13 came out I became a lot more active and decided to come on General Chat to meet more people. Ever since then I have not looked back. I have met some great people and some great friends.

I thought 'hey why don't I try and write a story'. I started an Arsenal one but it was no good then I fell in love with a club called Eastleigh. I stuck to that story for a long time but it was time to end and it was stopped.

I then started around 13 more stories and I got a lot of grief off other members. It was upsetting yes but I did not stop, I kept going and going until I found the one and well I have.

I started Pep Talks a month ago and the success has been amazing. It was recently nominated for SOTM and that is a huge achievement for me. But what I care about the most is the writing, not about Views or Comments. I write for a passion and I have never looked back.

All I want to say is thanks for your continued support and I promise Pep Talks will be with us until FM14 is out.

Thank you

Matt Wells
It's been a pleasure to read your stories (especially Pep) and I cant wait to see how you adapt your story writing techniques to fit FM 14 :P

Pep Looks Ahead

With a tough but also busy month coming up for Valencia, manager Pep Guardiola is planning ahead for a very difficult month.

Valencia have 7 fixtures including a two-legged Spanish Cup quarter-final against Bilbao. This comes on top of the January transfer window and Pep Guardiola is looking to invest in his squad and he also reveals that he has a good budget to work with.

“I have already brought in 2 players so I doubt there will be any big name signings. I hope to bring in a couple of players to make sure the squad is ready for the new season. I am interested in signing Luca Slongo from Basel as I feel he is a very talented player. He is good in the air and also good with his feet and at the age of 16 he has a big future”.

“There will be some exits and I feel some of the players are not good enough and they are also taking up massive wages at the club. I will not name names in particular but I can assure you there will be departures”.
“I feel we need to win all of these games” said Pep. “The team has quality and we know we can do it and we have found some new found belief in ourselves”.

“The Ossasuna game is one we should win. They are bottom of the league so we feel we have a good chance to beat them and also beat them well. They are a very weak team and I hope we can use our goals to make sure we get the 3 points”

“We then have the 1st leg of our Copa Del Rey quarter final and it will be tough. Bilbao have been great this season and have produced some good displays. The tie overall will be close but I hope we can win it and make the quarter final”.

“The only other game that concerns me is the one against Madrid. They have a great striker in Falcao but I hope that with him being Transfer Listed he will not play and we can make the most of it”.

Valencia have been drawn against Fenerbache in the last 16 leg of the Europa league and Pep Guardiola spoke of his excitement for the tie.

“It will be fun going to Turkey. The fans are very passionate and I hope we can spoil the party. There are some great times this year in the competition so I just hope we can prove ourselves as one of them”.

If Valencia win that tie then they will go on to face either Metalist or Malaga in the next round of the competition.

Also Valencia will either play Malaga or Mallorca if they make the semi-final of the Copa Del Rey. Real Madrid and Barcelona are still in the competition but Pep Guardiola wants to make sure that Valencia wins the cup.

“I hope that their other commitments will make the slip up. We can win it and I believe that it would be a great win for us to start off the new era at Valencia”.
Good luck for the upcoming month. Atletico should be you biggest challenge, but I reckon you can leave that game with 3 points! :)

Pep Position Insecure!

It has come to us that rumours are circulating that Pep Guardiola’s position as Valencia manager in under threat.

These reports come as a great shock to the footballing world as Pep has only been in his new job for just over a month.

The news broke after Guardiola was spotted at Valencia’s ground with a piece of paper in his hand and people believe that it may have either been his notice or his resignation.

If Pep was to leave Valencia it would be a massive shock to all of football as Valencia have been on the up since Pep joined and they look very good.

Pep Guardiola had recently signed Rosicky and Fierro and he was expected to add more players to the club in a bid to boost their Champions League qualification hopes.

Neither manager or club have gave a statement but we will bring you more updates when we can…..
Dun, dun, dun! I don't think you'll get fired, I mean you got a SOTM nomination, that's something I bet no other manager has! Not even Mourinho!
