August

We have started the season very well with good results in the Bundesliga and the German Cup.

Leverkusen Home

PEP’S NOTES: A great start to the season. We dominated the whole game and we deserved out win against a strong team in the league. We played very well and we had 60% of the possession and we also had 19 shots when they only had 3 and not one of them hit the target. Frank Ribery was injured but it is only a minor one and will keep him out for around a week but he will miss the next game for sure.

Augsburg Away

PEP’S NOTES: Another great win against a team that are expected to be relegated. We dominated the game again even though I played a weak team. Not many big stars played this game so I am delighted to get the 3 points and it is reassuring to know that my 2nd team can still perform.

League Table

We are sat top of the league but we know that it will all change after a few games.

Aachen Away

PEP'S NOTES: A good start in the cup against a team in the 3rd division. I played a mixture of youth and experience but I still wanted a few more goals but we won so that is okay. I was very happy with Ribery’s performance and he is going to be a key player this season.

Bayern Munich will play HSV in the second round of the German cup and it will be played in October.

Bayern Munich have been drawn in Group C and will play Benfica, Galatasaray and Red Bull Salzburg.

Player Of The Month: Frank Ribery

Frank has had a great start to the season and he has scored goals but also set up goals. He dictates the tempo of play and I hope he keeps this up all season.
