I bought Niyi into the club because from the age of 16, he was strong in the air and could easily finish. His reports from my scouts were excellent.

Adi had always looked promising, and when I decided to sign him off the youth books of Manchester United, he livened up our youth. His blistering pace and fantastic dribbling really caught my eye.

A fine defender, who is very good mentally and physically. He will be, I'm sure, a great full-back for years to come.

I saw that Thiago was being sold for a relatively low fee of £19M, and I just had to snap him up. He choose us over Juventus in Italy, and I don't think he will regret it.
A wonderful start :P

Today, I am here with Chelsea manager Joe Dowley to discuss the goings on of the past season. Well Joe, that certainly was an exciting last few weeks!

Well yes, Tottenham were leading the table for the majority of the season, but I think when we beat them at the start of April we had finally pulled it back. Credit has to go to them for making this season so exciting!

And what about the Champions League?

Well again we managed to win the competition, with a great result in the final against Porto. The two legs against Bayern Munich were nerve-racking, and I feel as though the quarters against Real Madrid were very exciting.

And you did go through in bizarre fashion, beating them 4-0 at home, before losing 5-1 away, taking the victory on away goals.

Well I can't say I had planned that second leg, as it certainly didn't go for us, but hey-ho, we made it through anyway.

And what about player performances? How do you rate the team compared to last season?

Well again, the team were excellent. They played as though they had ben together for years now, and we had some fantastic results during the season.

And before we end, anything about transfers?

We will just have to wait and see at the moment. I have some targets but whether I will get them is the question.

Jack Wilshere

What this boy can do is just amazing. Yes, he cost us a lot from our rivals Arsenal, but he is a very good player and one that will hopefully lift us to even higher heights.

Luke Shaw

I have always admired Luke, and after not managing to get him in my first season at the club, I got him now down on a cut price. He will be a major part of our defence.

Kevin Volland

Again, another player I have liked for some time, but not been able to bring in. He is a very quick, young finisher, who is clinical in the air and on the ground.

David Breinburg

Hopefully a player who will become a star of the future, with the right training. He is a powerful centre-back, similar to Jaap Stam.

As it always is, I sit here today with the pleasure of going over the past season with world-class Chelsea manager, Joe Dowley. So Joe, It has been an amazing season for you, taking over as England boss and leading Chelsea to almost another full trophies gathering. How do you plan to improve?

Well, it has been a fantastic year, what with all the England job and having another excellent season with Chelsea, and the players for both the club and country have been fantastic. I don't really know…how can improve? Win the Community Shield back? I don't really know.

Ah well, your transfers this season really paid off.

Well they did turn out to be good. Bringing Denys in on a free really sured up our midfield and cast away any doubts of weakness, which he did along with Jack.

Any idea on new transfers?

Well I will obviously be raking in money from sales, so unfortunately some players will be leaving, but I will mostly keep the money I make.

u make a ridiculous amount of signings every transfer window. dont think ive ever seen so many transnfers

Rômulo

Rom is a great laugh from what I have seen in training so far this year, but is also very determined to play his best every game, and he is really impressing me. Hopefully he will be a big part of this next season.

Walid Ziadi

Walid is a very quiet yet skilful player, and can do a lot with the ball. I hope that he will add a lot to our growing defensive midfield players.

Kurt Zouma

Kurt has been a brilliant player the last few years, and I was surprised to see him still at St. Etienne. He is a very quick player, and gives our wingers a good test.

As always, I am here to speak with Chelsea and England boss Joe Dowley. How do you think that season went for you Joe?

I thought that it was rather disappointing really, to see three trophies slip away from us due to poor performances was not acceptable. Luckily, we made up for it with our league victory making it four in a row for us. The Champions League was especially disappointing losing in the manner that we did.

Well that is interesting, but do you not think that you could be being a little bit harsh on your team?

The team know my feelings on this, and they know that we should have done better.

And moving on to England, what are your plans for Euro 2016 in France?

Well we plan to win it!

Rafael Perez

Rafael is a fabulously skilled winger, and I think personally that he is the next Cristiano Ronaldo. He is a brilliant player as technically and physically, and he will improve mentally in time.
