FANS WANT RAFA OUT

After Napoli manager Rafa Benitez was targeted by Liverpool fans, which included the hacking of his social networking sites and emails, pictures have been posted online or emails, private messages and photos, shared between Benitez and Maria Solded Cabris, the wife of former player Edinson Cavani. Fans took to forums, social networking sites and spread their message all over the internet, saying that they want Rafa Benitez, who had only taken over in May, gone!

Nevertheless, once the fans had calmed down a bit, along came the icing on the cake. Further emails were posted, discussions between the manager and Uruguayan Cavani. Fans learnt from the emails that Cavani had in fact found out about the fling with Maria, and was truly devastated. As fans read the emails, the shock would have hit many. Edinson Cavani left Napoli because of Rafa Benitez.

The manager, who had only just settled in, was the reason for the club losing their key player, and it infuriated the fans. #RAFAOUT became the top trend throughout Europe on Twitter, and We Want Rafa Out Facebook pages received over 30,000 likes within 24 hours. On MySpace, well, MySpace is empty, as always.

Now that the fans have clearly shown both their anger and disappointment about the Italian, it seems the club will be on the hunt for a new manager, although they are yet to comment on the situation regarding Rafa's fling with a player's wife. Maria herself has since claimed she was "forced into it" and "scared he would be violent if she sad no to anything". Because of these allegations, the matter will be taken very seriously by Police.

So although we know little about what happened between the pair, we do know the fans want him out, police will investigate further, and Napoli are likely to be hunting for a manager as we speak.
Ooh nice twist :D
Absolutely Fantastic update, superbly written, this story is going to be immense!
Great update, I loved the scared to be hurt bit, hahah ;)
Poor Rafa :))

SHOCK SIGNING FOR NAPOLI

Napoli have today announced a new signing, despite having the recent drama of Rafa Benitez, who has since been sacked by club president Aurelio De Laurentiis, with the contract negotiations handled by Laurentiis himself. The club's main priority may be finding a new manager, by Aurelio said that when the opportunity for the signing arose, he felt it was one he couldn't let pass, meaning he would do whatever was needed to get the signature of midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong.

Emmanuel Frimpong was previously playing in England, with London club Arsenal FC. Frimpong had recently finished a season long loan with Fulham FC, but found it a waste of time, and called Martin Jol a "clueless, demonic pig". The outburst led to Frimpong getting a fine by the Football Association, while also being fined 4 weeks wages by Arsene Wenger.

'Frimmy' was angered by this extra punishment from Arsenal, and decided to hand in a transfer request. However, once rejected, Frimpong hit out at Frenchman Arsene Wenger, saying "he wasn't suitable for the job, and the lack of trophies Arsenal have had lately is down to the old fart." This led to Wenger personally transfer listing the Ghanaian central midfielder, without a fee, meaning a club could sign Frimpong without paying a penny.

Napoli soon found out about the possible signing of Frimpong, who is becoming known as a bad-boy within football, and decided to immediately do everything possible to bring the star to Italy. After just 2 hours of meeting with both the player and agent, Laurentiis had managed to make the former England U16 and U17 player join for Napoli, being paid just £8,000 a week.

Emmanuel Frimpong will be given the number 26 shirt.
Absolutely Superb! Love how there is all the drama and controversy and then it finishes with "Emmanuel Frimpong will be given the number 26 shirt" Absolutely priceless!
Nice story mate :)

MANAGING MONSTROSITY

The last week has been one Napoli fans will soon want to forget. Losing their key player to Paris Saint-Germain, then being left without a manager, and soon finding he was the reason for the departure of Edinson Cavani. However, for the Azzurri things have just got even worse. With the season soon approaching, and pre-season kicking off just week, Napoli cannot find a manager to replace Rafa Benitez.

The club have confirmed they made the job open to any professional manager with at least 5 years experience in the top leagues around the world. No one came back with an offer to take over, meaning the next step was to ask specific managers or former players they felt would be suitable. Although the exact figure is unknown, a list was leaked online showing all the managers Napoli had proceeded to ask, accompanied by their reasons of rejection.

Some managers were fairly unknown, while three big stars, known around the world were also asked. Nevertheless, their reaction has damaged the morale of the club, and has left them to be seen as a club with little hope for the upcoming season. Jurgen Klopp was one manager listed, and he confirmed he had been approached by the blues. Due to his love for Dortmund he rejected the offer, feeling he had more to give to BVB first.

Fabio Capello was another manager listed. The former England manager was a shock approach for fans, due to his history as a player and manager with rival clubs Juventus and Milan. The biggest shock on the list though was former player David Beckham. The recently retired midfielder is expected to begin work with the FA soon, but stated he wanted to settle down with family now, rather than move to Italy, while also having no intention of becoming a manager.

Some footballing fans suggest the club are still without a manager due to the daft choices in approached managers, but hope someone will take the role very soon.
