Januzaj for £3M is a steal! He's put in some decent performances as well...

Thanks :)
Crap Results Kane :P

JK, A superb pre-season. Higuian better play well for your or I will book Akinfenwa on the first plane over to sort him out!

Great story so far!

I know, conceding to a Chinese team is awful! Nahh, I don't want Akinfenwa, but I'll take Heskey! Thanks :)

PELLEGRINI IS OVERRATED

Now that Emmanuel Frimpong has left England, he is happy to hit out at Arsenal's rivals clubs, and has now started with Manchester City. Despite having only just begun his managerial career, he is already hitting out at other managers, calling Manuel Pellegrini an "overrated, old fart" in a pre-match press conference.

Manuel Pellegrini recently took over as manager of Manchester City following the departure of Italin Roberto Mancini, and his appointment has pleased many City fans, feeling he is the perfect man for the job.

Pellegrini has already shown he can work wonders with clubs with some incredible feats, which have included taking Spanish side Vilarreal to the semi-finals of the Champions League, and later taking Real Madrid to their second highest points total of all time. It looks like Pellegrini is set to be a great manager for the Citizens, but Frimpong has said otherwise.

Emmanuel Frimpong has also shown he is a 'football bad boy', often named to be similar to Mario Balotelli, or Joey Barton. Now, he is showing this won't change as he becomes a manager, with reports claiming players may be unhappy within Napoli with Frimpong as manager. Nevertheless, early results have pleased many fans and players, so Frimpong looks set to stay for a while.

Fans have taken to social networking suggesting a friendly is needed to see which manager wins, with Frimpong saying "I'd love to, but my boys enjoy a challenge in pre-season."
Nice uppdate/start :)
Frimpong is overrated :P

AUGUST 2012

After a successful pre-season, Napoli will hope to get underway with a great start in the season, but they have some tough games, including the first game at San Siro against AC Milan, followed by the UEFA Champions League draw and first game. Emmnauel Frimpong will be hoping to make maximum points while announcing two future transfers.

SERIE A

AC Milan 0-2 SSC Napoli
(Higuain x2)

SSC Napoli 3-0 Torino
(Garay, Hamsik, Tello)

Bologna 0-5 SSC Napoli
(Tello, Hamsik, Callejon, Dzemaili, Albiol)

SSC Napoli 4-1 ACF Fiorentina
(Albiol,,Higuain, Mertens x2)

Udinese 2-1 SSC Napoli
(Higuain)

Losing just one game is great, and the goal difference is brilliant now. With a goal difference of +12 after just 5 games, it's a good start, and hopefully can be developed. The highlight has to be the starting game against AC Milan, in which we dominated against an excellent side. Hopefully we can forget the Udinese game, and it shouldn't damage us too much at the moment.

CHAMPIONS LEAGUE GROUP E

THE DRAW:

  • FC Bayern
  • Manchester City
  • SSC Napoli
  • Shakthar Donetsk

  • SSC Napoli 4-0 FC Bayern
    (Higuain x2, Hamsik, OG)

Other Result: Manchester City 6-0 Shakthar Donetsk

A very tough draw in my opinion, and I was absolutely dreading it. The win against FC Bayern is unreal, especially at that score. It's great that Frimpong will get to fight it out with Pellegrini though and I can't wait for the game. After that win against FC Bayern, I'm hoping we can get second place in this group.

    FUTURE TRANSFERS

    TRANSFERS IN:

  • Hachim Mastour - AC Milan - £3.5M
  • Seung-Woo Lee - FC Barcelona - £725K

  • The two youngsters will both join the club on the 2nd January, signing from very reputable clubs. Hachim Mastour, currently 14, is already valued at £400k, but without playing a single game for the first team, will be signed for almost 10 times that value. Seung-Woo Lee, also 14, featured in a few friendlies, but still has little experience in first-team football. Nevertheless, both signings are certainly for the future.

Only Joking, superb month, culminating in beating Bayern 4-0! Impressive!

The Quality of Writing in this story is too high :P
It is with terrible regret I will be ending this story, and ending my time as a writer of FM13 Manager Stories. Personal reasons combined with other commitments and lack of time mean I can't put in the time and effort needed. I shall be back for FM14, but until then, I shall say goodbye to writing Manager Stories.
A shame to see this go, it had potential. Understand why you've stopped though, it is rather time consuming. I'll now patiently wait until FM14 to see you write again :D
