Hammond's View

A mixed month really, we had the great wins against Exeter and Cheltenham. But then we had the draw against Rotherham and the loss against Aldershot. We are still 1ST in the league which is obviously a positive. We are at the half-way point in the league, so we are going strong in that department. Bring on December!

The Dreaded Meteting - Halfway Point

" So there I am, standing outside of the famous restaurant 'Flaming Dragon' in Dagenham. Then, it comes round the corner, he pulls up outside me. His chauffeur pulls him out of the car, who is it it is the chairman of Dagenham and Redbridge Football Club. He has a coffee in one hand, and his mobile phone in his other hand we both walk in together. That, is where it started.
He looked at me with his beady eyes, opens his mouth and says "Hi Richard, how are you feeling today?" I was petrified, but politely I said back "fine thankyou, how are you? It was all very tense but after awhile we started to talk about the main topic Dagenham and Redbridge Football Club.

The Chat

Chairman: So, how do you think the season has gone so far?
Richard: Very well so far, we are top of the league and perfroming very well
Chairman: WELL I'M NOT HAPPY
Richard:(hesitantly) Why?
Chairman: We haven't been scoring enough goals, which means we aren't getting attendences- this is making me loose money. I want you to change your tactis, so we score more goals
Richard: Ok Mr Andrews, I will do exactly as you say
Chairman: Thankyou, we will have another meeting at the end of the season, to discuss your expectations don't let me down Mr Hammond
Richard: I won't see you soon.

FA Cup 3RD Round Draw

We have been handed a home draw against Tranmere Rovers, they are only a league above us and we are at home so I feel we can have a go at them and reach the 4TH round.

We have been handed a home draw against Stevenage, once again they're only 1 league above us and we are at home. So if we stick to our game plan then we could come away with a win and reach the South Final.
