Thank you Very Much

Transfer Deadline Day

In a busy transfer deadline day Aston Villa manager Sir Alex pulled out of a deal and completed two more deals.

Ali Ahamadi - £11.25m from Toulouse

So Sir Alex ditched a bid for Kasper Schmicheal and opted for little known keeper Ali Ahamadi from Toulouse. He was recommended by scout Mel Melchin and Sir Alex has said he will come in as the first choice keeper. He is definatly one to watch.

Luke Shaw - £15m from Southampton

Sir Alex acted quickly when Luke shaw said he wanted a 'bigger club'. Aston Villa wrapped up this deal very very quick that no one else had chance to react. Luke Shaw has been tipped for big things and expect him to challenge very quickly for a first team space.

Aston Villa might not have been very busy this transfer deadline day but it has been a very productive one. Sir Alex is delighted with his signings and wants a top 6 finish!
Pretty solid signings, hope they do well. Shaw is a gem :)

Yeah this Keeper looks pretty solid too, Mel Melchin is the guy i pay most attention to too
Ahamadi should do well, i've used him in F*FA before... didn't want to put the full word, it might be classed as swearing ;) good keeper though

Villa Still Winless At Home

Aston Villa manager Sir Alex Ferguson is starting to feel the heat as Villa lost 3 and drew one. Players are not living up to there pricetags, In actual fact Jordan Bowery and Jack Grealish along with Captain Ron Vlaar are the only players who seem to do anything right.

Tottenham 2-2 Aston Villa

Saturday 22nd September 2012
Aston Villa 0-1 Q.P.R
QPR have taught Villa a lesson today. Aston Villa had 3 shots on goal all game and Sir Alex got critised for leaving out Jordan Bowery.

Sunday 30th September 2012
Aston Villa 0-1 Liverpool
4554 Season Ticket holders failed to turn up for this game because they are mad that Aston Villa can not win a match at home. They were expecting top 6 not battling relegation like Sir Alex and the Board said at the beginning of the season.

Aston Villa under Sir Alex are being asked a lot of questions early on in his comeback but this is Sir Alex and I am sure he will bounce back. Jordan Bowery is becoming a very important player, Villa need to improve and very quick.
Sir Alex also told journalists from the BBC to go screw themselves too as they questioned him about things to do with Villa.
Not the best of results...but give the players time to settle. Europe here we come!

I frigging hope so lol
Things don't seem to be going so well. Sort of enjoying the downfall of Fergie but I do hope you manage to turn it round and things start to be more positive.

A Team Meeting and An Improvement

Sir Alex decided to get all his squad together and tell them that all the Villa Board wanted to do was avoid relegation, but Sir Alex who spent £22.5m on Aiden McGeady laid into his pricey star telling to buck up or get out. McGeady sat there stunned as Ferguson told him that at the moment Maloney, Nem, Grealish and Albrighton was ahead of him in the pecking order.

Jack Grealish, Jordan Bowery, Marc Albrighton and Gary Gardner were actually showing up the pricy stars by performing so much better than the rest of the squad.

After that meeting the Villa team played a Wigan team who are struggling. Surely they could atleast pick a win up there. Jack Grealish, Jordan Bowery, Gabby Agbonlahor, Ciaran Clark and Gary Gardner all started proving what Sir Alex is trying to do could ultimately pay off but maybe not this season.

Premier League Table

Aston Villa are currently on 9 points which for a club like them who have spent the money they have it doesnt look good, BUT it is better than what the media are expecting. I think Villa have too much quality and they just need to gel. Gardner and Ayew are starting to get a partnership going. Luke Shaw looks inspired since joining but the biggest mention is the the youngster Jordan Bowery. He keeps working his socks off and has multiple MoM awards this month. The month starts with an emotional match for Sir Alex as he plays Manchester United at home at Villa park. Realistically they are not expected to get anything out of it but they might do being the way this season is going.
I think Villa are doing quite good but Aiden McGeady will always be selfish

Benteke Scoops Award

Christian Benteke under Sir Alex has had a slow start. He was in the first game then was dropped however he came good this month as he picked up the Young Player of the Month award for October. Benteke who for most the month played upfront with young starlet Jordan Bowery blew away the competition when he came on as a second half substitute and scored twice to make sure of 3 points for Aston Villa.
Benteke is likely to be a important part of what at the moment is a over achieving Aston Villa team.

Who is Christian Benteke

Benteke played youth football for JS Pierreuse and later Standard Liège before moving to Genk. He returned to Standard in January 2009. On 7 August 2009 he joined KV Kortrijk on loan for a season. He spent the following season on loan at Mechelen as part of the transfer of Aloys Nong, who moved from Mechelen to Standard Liège. He returned to Genk in 2011, scoring 19 goals in 37 appearances during one season at the club.

On 31 August 2012, Benteke joined Premier League club Aston Villa on a four-year deal for a fee believed to be around £7 million. Benteke stated this was a dream come true in getting a move to the Premier League and thanked the players and manager at K.R.C. Genk for his move.
