This statement has got many fans across Crystal Palace forums excited, however many fans are stating that they are not getting their hopes up. One fan, who went by the username 'K1rups
' stated: "Don't get your hopes up, guys. Bernard would cost a lot of money, in excess of £8m and I just don't see us paying so much for one player when their are several areas that could be improved. Yes, he has stated that he would like to join us, but I don't think he will leave yet, maybe will will join in the summer."
