2013-07-18 19:13#120818 P-KIDDY : Guy Moussi and Chris Cohen are beasts. Be sure to use them

Moussi is actually on the way out probably he is a DM and I won't be using them for the formation. I use which is a 4-2-3-1

Pre-season match ups

Nottingham Forest head into their last games of the pre-season as they play cash strapped Valencia and Greek side Olympiakos. Both games will be hard games beyond question, as the two sides often feature in European tournaments such as the Europa League and Champions League. Tournaments that the Red's fans can only dream of right now. No matter the opponents stature it is clear that Forest will be looking to give a good performance in both fixtures.

Each season clubs are entered into various competitions, some more important to others. For Championship teams competitions such as the Capital One and FA cups offer a invigorating chance to play teams from lower and higher leagues than themselves. With the mouth watering possibility of potentially bringing a spot in continental competition. Nottingham Forest coach, Frank Lampard, has suggested the same opinion on the two domestic competitions. He stated that he wants to push Forest to fighting for a position in either final or even both. Lampards statement: "A position in either of those competitions finals would be an amazing triumph for the club! I have let the boys know that is where I intend to push the club towards," left many Forest fans extremely excited.

A disappointing result for Forest but, a win none the less. Frank and co. will undeniably be looking for better results in the near future.
Indeed, a win is a win. Well done Super Frank!

Thank you sir!

Frank Lampard and his scouting crew have been busy over the last few days as the club squander to round up a few players to create the required depth for a Championship side. Forest opened up the flurry of incoming transfers with the signing of Peterborough United's Lee Tomlin. A strong winger who will bring some flair to the game for the Northern side. The deal is thought to be completed in increments where Forest have paid half upfront and look to pay the rest over 24 months. The overall fee looks to be in the region of 1.3 million pounds a hefty sum to cough up. Lampard greeted the transfer with praise, saying "Tomlin is just the sort of player we need, he adds depth to the left wing, which we are in need of."

Speaking of depth in needed places, Nottingham have brought in Australian left back Michael Zullo on loan from FC Utrecht for the season. This gives Forest full back Dan Harding competition for his spot, which will hopefully bring good performances from both players.

The two other players linking up with Forest came on free's. Ex Hoffenheim defender Manuel Gulde along with ex Toulouse full back Hendricks Cakin, have both joined the Reds for the season ahead. Cakin is expected to be a player that will mainly be used in the reserves while Gulde has a definite role in the first team, where he will ply his trade among the other central defenders.

Following these two only a week prior to their signing Ex Marseille winger Chris Gadi also became a Forest player. He is expected to be featured in an upcoming game. Lampard exclaimed his surprise that OM decided to let the winger go as he feels the French 20 year old has a lot to offer. An alliance between the two French players Cakin and Gadi has already been made as both players seem inseparable during training and other activities. A good sign as they both play the same side of the field, proving an understanding for each others style of play will be formidable.

Fantastic signings there mate,great work.

Player worthy of mention: Jamaal Lascelles has been on point for Forest as of late the 18 year old has proven his worth to Lampard, as a prospect and first team player. Averaging a 7.48 and scoring a goal.
