Smashing Roma Car-eer to pieces
Matteo Brighi stepped out of his car and walked towards the Stadio Olimpico. He felt nervous in a sense but yet the adrenaline was keeping him going. He contemplated what he was about to do. He was essentially waving goodbye to his AS Roma career maybe even his football career. But he would do anything for his wife and child.
He realised he had forgot the most important piece of equipment for this task. He went back to his car and picked it up. It weighed a tonne and an unfit person definitely wouldn't be able to use it. But he was a full time footballer and he was strong. He walked back towards Fabios car, parked outside the Stadio, sledgehammer in hand.
He lifted it behind his head and smashed it down on the car. The windscreen shattered in an explosion of glass. The car alarm surprisingly didn't go off and Matteo remembered that Fabio had said he had been needing to get that fixed. Matteo smashed down on the car again and again. As he continued to do it is started to feel almost good.
"Just pretend its that guy on the phones face" he whispered to himself as he drew back the hammer again.
Once he was done he went back into his car and took out a backpack. He reached in and pulled out a knife. He quickly got to work slicing all the tyres, puncturing them.
And then the big finale. The man who had phoned had emphasised this part was imperative. He reached into his backpack and whipped out 2 cans of spray-paint. He started scrawling the message he had been told to on the car...
Afar off, the man had been watching. He had watched as Matteo smashed the car. He had watched as he punctured the tyres. And now he watched as he spray painted the message. This was too good he thought to himself. He got back into his car, Matteo's wife and daughter tied up in the boot, gagged so no sound escaped their lips. He would keep his end of the bargain and return them, unharmed. After all he was a man of his word.
But first he had a phone call to make
