On the ball city!

(Late Breaking News)

Walsall have signed former Man Utd shot-stopper Ben Amos on a free transfer, this one is very weird, when I went for him in July he was contracted to them as United turned down a £800,000 bid for him.

So finding out a few months down the line he was available on a free transfer so I had to go for him and snap him up as he has Premier League experience, so this is the 3rd Man Utd signing so far this season.

Lets hope he can perform for us this season, and give that competition to former United youngster Sam Johnstone..
Where do you think Walsall will finish at the end of The 2012-13 season?

Thanks for the comments guys, I think I could make the play-offs this season, as we are doing well as we were favourites to go down this season! so anything above that has met expectations!

Will look in January where I can improve my squad and will be looking to get rid of deadwood and contracts that are expiring.

Will look at the more experienced guys like Pieri, will keep Jody Craddock as he has given me the experience at the back of my defence, he released the clause in his contract where he was able to extend his contract until the end of the 2013/14 season.

Jose Ortiz I will see what his performances are like for the rest of the season, if he performs as he is expected due to some good stats, then I will keep him on if not I will be looking to sell or loan him out next season.

Rudi Skacel and Djimi Traore I will look to definetly keep next season they have both been very key players in their positions, Skacel has the attacking threat like he did for Hearts, and Traore has the great experience playing for "the mighty reds" of liverpool. Andy Butler will be getting a longer contract as his is the best defender who is at the club in my opinion and as the Walsall Faithful call him, "Captain Fantastic". The Chamber brothers I will evaluate their form and may look to let them both go at the end of the season, as Grant McCann I feel is the stronger of the midfield pair. James Chambers isn't playing much this season with Fisher and Taundry playing before him.
Breaking News

Walsall have loaned out former No.1 keeper David Grof to affiliate club Tamworth, who are in the Blue Square Bet Premier, The 24 year old keeper has joined the local club on a 3 month loan deal to give him first team action, I can see him being their No.1 as they really don't have much competition, I will look to see how he performances during the short stint, and then I will loan him out til the end of the season to Tamworth.
It would be great to see you include imagery to go alon with your posts as they are so well written. It would just make them a bit more attractive to look at.

Thanks for the input I will look to add more pictures into my story, do you think I should do monthly updates? or match by match?

Walsall Manager Craig Blick slams Will Grigg

In a surprise interview with the Walsall Manager, Mr.Blick has spoken to Express and Star Reporter Steve Madeley.

Mr Blick, has spoken about the disappointment about Will Grigg's attitude in training recently after the Northern Ireland International work rate during training, with him mouthing off to staff and trying to injure other players, Mr.Blick doesn't know what is wrong with Will[Grigg], He has a fantastic pre-season playing every game and starting the season off in the starting line up against Portsmouth and Tranmere..

He has seemed to go off the rails since the signings of Nakhi Wells and Johnny Russell, at the end of the day players thrive on competition, if his attitude wasn't this bad he would start more games for me, but how can I give a player a chance in the first team if he trying to injure my players, Will is going to be fined and will be training with the Youth Team until his attitude changes! But more than likely I will give him the chance to go out on loan with our affiliate club Tamworth if he is willing to join to give him first team action.
This is much better already, you've mixed the interviews with the controversy and it has worked well. More of the same :P

Thanks for the praise, I hope to keep the readers I have and make this story more exciting and hopefully getting Walsall to where I want them. Watch out for more updates :)
Nicely written, but seriously Grigg, come off it! You're one of the only Walsall players I've actually heard of, we don't wanna lose you! :P
