Transfer News – I recalled Ryan Tunnicliffe from his loan spell at Port Vale. In total he played 27 games scoring 3 goals and getting 2 assists.
Transfer News – Amos has agreed to move to Stoke for £600 000.
FA Cup 3rd Round – Hartlepool H

4-4-2
Sam Johnstone, Fábio, Luke McCullough, Scott Wootton, Sean McGinty, Adnan Januzaj, Phil Jones, Mats Møller Dæhli, Alvaro Vadillo, Danny Welbeck, Carlos Fierro
Subs Used – Will Keane, Gerard Deulofeo, Mateo Kovacic

Won the game easily 3-0 as Hartlepool had a player sent off after 50 seconds. United goals game from McCullough, Welbeck and a penalty from Fábio. It was also Johnstone first game for United.
Transfer News – Johnstone has moved to Rochdale on loan for 3 months.
you seem to be doing pretty well but i cant help but notice you seem to have overpayed every time you have bought someone and not recieved much in the way of transfer fees for people, and what made you sell valencia for that price? he is definitely worth keeping

I have only signed a couple of players but I believe that they are value for money as they will play for me for a long time. With regards to Valencia he just could not get in the team so that is why I decided to sell him.
Transfer News – Signed Kyle Walker from Tottenham for 4.4 million. He has been given the number 25. He will provide cover a RB and also at CB. I was pleased to sign him as he performed very well for at the Olympics.
Injury News – Owen out for 6 weeks, injured in training.
Injury News – Deulofeu injured in a reserve game and is out for 6 weeks.
That’s a pretty decent price to get Walker on…he must not be progressing as well on your game as he was on mine (Made it to Barcelona for £16 million). He plays much better at RB than centre although I’m guessing you know that.

Gutted about Fletcher, he will be a big miss for sure!

His stats are good, he played around 25 times last season for Spurs but could not get into their team this year (they signed a RB). I only play to use him as a RB but it is a bonus that he can play at CB (might come in handy in a injury crisis).

Yeah It was bad news about Fletcher. Hopefully he can take the rest of the season off and return next September fit and well.
Injury News – Fletcher injured in training, out for a week.
Transfer News – I recalled Oliver Norwood from his loan spell at Scunthorpe. In total he played 21 games scoring 1 goal and getting 1 assist.
League Game – Arsenal H

4-5-1
Line Up - Anders Lindegaard, Rafael, Jonny Evans, Nemanja Vidić, Patrice Evra, Paul Pogba, Phil Jones, Tom Cleverley, Nani, Mario Götze, Javier Hernández
Subs Used – Ryan Giggs, Anderson, Wayne Rooney

I decided to change my formation as Arsenal lined up with a DMC, so I decided to play three CM (Pogba and Cleverley as Box-to-Box Midfielders and Jones as a Ball Winning Midfielder) and have Götze on the left as a Playmaker and Nani on the right as a Winger and it worked a treat. Two goals by Hernández and a wonder free kick by Nani gave me a very good win. All the midfield played well and the three in the centre did not allow Arsenal to play.

I may just make a serious bid for Hernández in my game, he seems to be an absolute goal machine for you this season!

Good tactics RE Arsenal, many would just go in with the tactics and players that have been used before but to stifle their midfield and attack worked wonders for you with those 3 players dominating the middle of the park.
