Injury News

Sime Vrsaljko has picked up an injury in training and will be out for 6 - 7 weeks.
Transfer Update

CM - Robbie Cotton - Blackburn Rovers - £1,900,000

A young English sixteen year old with this much potential, costing just £1,900,000. A few teams were after him but we moved fast to secure his signature. He has gone into the academy squad.
UEFA Champions League - Group G

Chelsea, Valencia, Bayer Leverkusen and Rosenborg. Potentially a tricky group but we will be looking to win the group and put ourselves in a good position for the knockout round. The Champions League dream starts here.
Barclays Premier League

Sunderland 0 - 3 Chelsea

4-3-3
Cech, Ivanovic, Luiz, Terry, Cole, Mikel, Lampard, Ramires, Kalou, Mata, Torres

Subs Used - Romeu

Man of the match - David Luiz

Another great performance from the team today. Lampard, Ramires and David Luiz getting the goals. And again, another clean sheet.
Nice to see people playing with Chelsea as i am a Chelsea fan myself. Looks like you have brought in some good young hot prospects and the team looks like its playing well. Keep it up :)

Thanks mate
Barclays Premier League

Chelsea 3 - 0 West Bromwich Albion

4-3-3
Cech, Ivanovic, Luiz, Terry, Cole, Mikel, Lampard, Ramires, Kalou, Mata, Torres

Subs Used - Cahill, Sturridge

Man of the match - Fernando Torres

A good solid home performance along with another clean sheet. Two goals from Fernando Torres and one from Juan Mata. The team is playing really well at the moment.
Looking great! I've tried taking Chelsea to new heights twice, but miserably failed because Torres couldn't rediscover his powers, everytime he got scoring, he would get injured! Hopefully you'll have better fortunes.

That's quite a tough group, a great test and warm-up to the knockouts nonetheless, looking forward to see European results :)

Btw, which leagues do you have loaded?

Thanks mate. I have loaded England(obviously), Spain, Germany, Italy and France. The player database is about 40,000?
UEFA Champions League - Group G - Matchday One

Chelsea 4 - 0 Valencia

4-3-3
Cech, Ivanovic, Luiz, Terry, Cole, Mikel, Lampard, Ramires, Sturridge, Mata, Drogba

Subs Used - Meireles, Malouda

Man of the match - David Luiz

I decided to make a couple of changes and start with Daniel Sturridge and Didier Drogba. It paid off, both players got on the scoresheet along with John Terry and David Luiz. And again we kept another clean sheet. We sit second in the group after Bayer Leverkusen beat Rosenborg 5 - 0.
Barclays Premier League

Chelsea 3 - 0 Wigan Athletic

4-3-3
Cech, Ivanovic, Luiz, Cahill, Bertrand, Romeu, Lampard, Felipe Anderson, Sturridge, Mata, Torres

Subs Used - Meireles, Drogba

Man of the match - Felipe Anderson

I made four changes to the starting line up. Felipe Anderson bossed the midfield today on his debut which was brilliant. Frank Lampard scored a penalty while Daniel Sturridge and Juan Mata got the other goals.
Carling Cup Third Round

Arsenal 2 - 1 Chelsea

4-3-3
Cech, Ivanovic, Luiz, Terry, Cole, Mikel, Lampard, Felipe Anderson, Sturridge, Mata, Drogba

Subs Used - Vrsaljko, Kalou, Torres

Man of the match - Walter Montillo (Arsenal)

Disappointed to be knocked out this early but Arsenal played well and probably edged the game. I made all three subs at half time to try and freshen things up but it didn't make much difference. David Luiz scored our goal.
Barclays Premier League

Bolton Wanderers 0 - 0 Chelsea

4-3-3
Cech, Ivanovic, Luiz, Terry, Cole, Mikel, Meireles, Ramires, Sturridge, Malouda, Torres

Subs Used - Lampard, Drogba

Man of the match - Paul Robinson (Bolton Wanderers)

A draw was a fair result. The Reebok Stadium can be a difficult place to go sometimes and today it was just that. I'm starting to notice that players like Florent Malouda and Raul Meireles don't contribute much when they are in the team so I will be keeping an eye on them.
UEFA Champions League - Group G - Matchday Two

Rosenborg 0 - 3 Chelsea

4-2-3-1
Cech, Vrsaljko, Cahill, Terry, Bertrand, Meireles, Felipe Anderson, Kalou, Mata, Malouda, Lukaku

Subs Used - Lampard, Drogba

Man of the match - Salomon Kalou

A very young team, a different formation and a brilliant performance. Two goals from Salomon Kalou and one from substitue Didier Drogba gave us the three points. We now top our group.
ive been waiting for a good and continued chelsea story on here and i hope this could be it seems great so far.................. dont quit it !
