If you are building a very determined squad, a youngster with determination 5 may not be for you, as that attribute will not go way up - I think it can rise a tiny bit. On the other hand, if you're hunting for a world class crosser, one who is at 11 at age 15 has the possibility of becoming quite good - though might not, it's not given to us to know the possibilities unless you use an external tool (thus subjecting you to cries of cheating on this board ). The point being, you can "gamble" on attributes which are changeable if they're at a reasonably promising level, but not on ones that don't change much or at all.

Definitely Agreed... But Sometimes you got to take the risk, that's the point, sometimes you can take the gamble even if the scout don't recommend that player or give him a low rating..

Yeah i have a lot of experience when it comes to regens and long term stuff in the game " Having spent 10 seasons in Wolverhampton" So if you ever decide to do this count me in.

Don't forget to check Junior National squad from top rank country, some youngster play for senior too, like he's a star already for their country, but its not impossible for low rank nation to generate a good talent youngster, so, keep searching to the most obscure part of the world
