2012-10-28 22:34#68903 AmNeSiA_CFC : I noticed the 1s on first page :) I ask because with you signing Fellaini and Cavani I was wondering if you had changed it to fit those 2 in
No, I just changed it because I was loosing to Norwich and almost to Southampton with them, so I decided to use tactics Alex Ferguson uses and it worked:D

2012-10-28 22:33#68901 amishbr07 : Nice story. I am anxious to hear your thoughts on our desperate need of a holding mid? Are you content with Fellaini and Fletch? Or are you eyeing a January transfer?
Well, I haven't registered Fletcher or Evans for that matter, I just don't like them, but you will have to find out who comes in, in January, i'm preparing bids as we speak ;)

Nice. Can't wait!

Meeting with the Board

*Nervous Breathing* "I wonder what they want" Sleightholm whispered to himself, "Oh I hope its got nothing to do with the past results, not already!"

Sleightholm
Gill
M.Glazer

Hello Josh, please sit down,*Sleightholm takes a seat facing both Malcolm and David*We wont bother with the chit-chat and we'll just cut to the chase. You must improve the results we are getting at the moment. We understand we told you to give youth a chance as you did in the Capital One Cup against Sunderland, we won't blame you for that, and we won't if you do that in the FA Cup when it comes round to it, but losing 4-1 to Sunderland is still not acceptable. Then we move on to the League, I think we all know improvements could be made. The losses to Norwich and Newcastle and the draws against Southampton and West Brom are deemed unacceptable by the board. However we are more concerned about the Champions League, being bottom of the other three 'easily beatable' teams is highly unacceptable, and if it further continues will have to consider contract termination, Do you agree?

*Sleightholm sits up looking a little nervous than before* Yes, Mr.Glazer, I agree with you 100% I will spend as long as it takes on developing new tactics that will help us achieve what we want, now if you'll excuse me I'll get on with that right now.

Yes, you may go, but remember, you are making Manchester United a laughing stock, sort it out, and until we see some improvements no more transfer money will be given to you. Good day Mr. Sleightholm.
I hope you pick up and win the league :D, Good Luck.

Wow, if I was Glazer I would have sacked you already! These results are unacceptable for a team like United, really. Nevertheless, good story, at least it's somewhat realistic, although United losing matches and buying so many big players isn't very realistic at all.

The perfect ending to this whole 'getting sacked?' saga would be for you to get sacked around January, and find a new club. ;)

Just kidding :P

Will be following! Hopefully you improve your results in your next update :)
Guys this isn't an update, but the last match of next month is against City, that's Manchester City, do you want me to do it as normal like the rest of my matches or do a commentary like Or.Dabool does, (if he doesn't mind of course) comment what you think, and I'll do the same with future big matches! :D
I think normal would be fine. Commentary for ultra big matches like cup Finals and stuff like that.

Haha, cheers Glenn. I hope they improve to, and yes, it may not be like Man Utd to buy big players in the real world, but when Im manager, it is ;) and it'd interesting getting sacked, maybe I could have this bit as a prologue, then skip a couple of years, come back into management and work my way up to Man United again;)

Yeah, I might make it a little more extent, maybe a little match report on the end.

Team Meeting

Sleightholm
Vidic
Cruyff
Giggs
Rooney
Rest of the Team

"Oi! Johan, call in the First Team now, all of them."
"Just a minute boss... oh wow, what a wonderful display there by Cavani." *Runs over to Sleightholm's office that overlooks Carringtons inside pitches*
"You called?
"Yes, call in the whole First Team, except Wayne, I wish to speak to him afterwards, alone."
"As you wish, my honour haha."
"Haha."
*Team enters one by one, with confused faces throughout, shortly followed by Johan, closing the door behind him*
"Right then you lot, the start of the season has been terrible, yes, wins here and there, but boys, this is Manchester United, the same club that Bobby Moore, Andy Cole and Kasper Schmeichel played for, if that's not good enough motivation then I don't know what is. I've already had a bollocking off the board for the poor results, and if they don't improve, I'm off, and it won't be my choice. Now book your ideas up boys. Now leaving that, I would like to hand special praise to Edinson, my word you have been one impact so far this season, something like 10 in 12 which is our best so far."
"Right ladies, what have we to say to all that?"
"I and I'm sure the rest of us completely agree with you boss, we have not been Manchester United at all this season, we have been a team that turns up to games WONDERING if they will win or lose, today that changes, we are going to go into every match fighting for the win, Premier League team or not, we will fight eh?"
*Shouting* "AYE!"
"Yes Vidic! That's the spirit, and boys, I'm going to be honest, not once in my long career here have we ever had a topsy-turvy start like we have now, we need to step it up, or our tireless manager Josh, will be on his way out, he is a club legend, that's not what we want, is it?"
*Shouting* "NO!"
"Thanks Ryan, right, all of you get back out there and give 100%. Go"
*All of the team stands up and exits chatting to each other. As they leave Wayne Rooney enters the room*
"You, erm, wanted to see me, boss?"
Yes Wayne, I did, basically I'm going to have to transfer list you if performances don't improve, you had enough chances to score as many goals as Edinson has, but Wayne, 2 goals in 10 matches is nowhere near Manchester United, standard, step it up, or we'll have to replace you, and I have several strikers I want to bring in, so if one of our current strikers is 'slipping' he'll be on his way out."
*Sighs* "I know boss, they haven't been good enough at all, I'll step up my game, in order to keep my place here.
"That's better, now, off back to training"
"Yes boss"
*Wayne leaves the room, shutting the door behind him*
Are you really going to Transfer List him?!"
*Laughs* "Johan, seriously, who'd be dumb enough to Transfer List a player like Rooney, just a little motivation to get him fired up, let's see if it works eh?"
It'd better work! Cavani is pure class, has performed well for you.

Well guess who scored as soon as we went into the match after the talk... hmm, looks like it's working;)
