Very nice Glenn, you are 6th in the Premier League, this season you can qualify to the Europa League, or maybe to the...Champions League.
Waiting for the next update :P!

The Arrival of Michael Owen

Queens Park Rangers have completed the signing of Stoke striker Michael Owen.

The veteran player was not doing well at Stoke and after six months, Tony Pulis' side were prepared to let him leave. Andriy Shevchenko got his man for just 400k.

The Ukrainian has not used Mark Hughes' summer signing Andy Johnson this season at all, instead preferring Djibril Cisse and Bobby Zamora.

"Michael will provide quality backup to Djibril and Bobby," explained Shevchenko. "He's played for Liverpool, Real Madrid, Newcastle, and United. He's been there, he's done it all. He'll add tons of experience to the dressing room."

Meanwhile, as Owen arrives, Anton Ferdinand and Jay Bothroyd have been loaned out to Brighton and Hove Albion. Shaun Wright-Phillips also leaves on loan to Celtic, while DJ Campbell has agreed a free transfer to Ipswich.
Parmenter.... What a knob!! :P

Across London

Tottenham midfielder Jermaine Jenas has made the move across London to link up with Queens Park Rangers on a six-month loan deal.

Andriy Shevchenko confirmed the signing of Jenas just 3 hours until the transfer deadline.

Jenas, who had recently returned to White Hart Lane after a six-month loan at Nottingham Forest, has been farmed out on loan again. The 29-year-old is not favoured at Tottenham with boss Andre Villas-Boas having stronger midfield options.

"We are pleased to confirm the loan signing of Jermaine Jenas," said Shevchenko, accompanied by his assistant Mark Bowen and director of football Mike Rigg. "We believe it is quite a marquee signing for the club, despite Jermaine being here only on loan. Hopefully he can help our consistency and allow us to remain in the top half of the league."

"It's an honour to be part of Andriy's project here," said Jenas. "I'm looking forward to meeting my new teammates. Hopefully I can get some valuable first-team time here."

January: Rise of the Rangers

"Good morning, Andriy, here's the monthly report for January."

"Ah, Mark. I was wondering when you would come in."

"Those aren't exactly fantastic results, but at least we are 6th in the table," Mark said with a cheerful tone in his voice.

I nodded, agreeing.

"Oh, by the way, you won't believe who's on Player of the Month."

"Hm?" I was curious, and flipped to the next page.

QPR Player of the Month

Max Ehmer

Max Ehmer was introduced into the first-team after injuries to Nedum Onuoha and Ryan Nelsen. Doria and Stephane Mbia's international commitments prevented them from taking part in QPR matches, with Doria yet to make his Rs debut. However, it was left to Ehmer to make the step-up, alongside Jose Bosingwa in defense. He made his senior debut under Andriy Shevchenko with a brilliant performance against Bolton in the Fourth Round of the FA Cup, before capping off his Premier League debut against Aston Villa with a stunning volley to give his side the lead.

"Max?" I chuckled. "He's good, but he's only played two matches!"

Mark laughed. "Are you planning to use Max more now, then?"

"No," I admitted. "When all the regulars in central defense return he'll go back to the Reserves. I'll probably think twice about selling him now though." Just a few days ago, I was thinking about how the youth teams of the club lacked quality and I was planning to release every single one of them.

"Oh yes, and a transfer report," Mark produced more documents. "Almost forgot about this."

"Right..." I sighed, as I accepted the report and took a look.

"That's pretty good, I guess," I said. "Pity we didn't manage to get rid of Andy Johnson, but... we'll see what happens in the summer."

"Alright."
Jenas!? :))

Question...

Will Michael Owen be spending as much time on MOTD as he does now? He has already spent more time on MOTD this season than he has on the pitch for Stoke lol

On a serious note, keep going mate, a top half finish awaits! Still a bit gutted about the Redknapp story but this one is just as good!

I believe no one ISN'T gutted about the Redknapp story ;)

Lmao, just kidding. I'm gutted as well, that was the best save I've ever had, but I guess there are times where you have to move on :/

Michael Owen has scored 2 goals and 1 assist in 4 appearances for Queens Park Rangers :P

February: Unbeatable

"Wow," I said, as Mark appeared in my office. "I never thought I'd say this, but going unbeaten for a month seems like a common occurrence for Queens Park Rangers now."

Mark grinned. "Yeah!"

"Hand over that monthly report so I can be reminded of my own genius management skills," I joked. Mark chuckled and handed it over.

"Michael's been showing how good of an acquisition he's going to be," said Mark.

"Yes," I agreed. "He was brilliant against Swansea and Sunderland, and he also scored two goals against Derby."

"Well, I'm glad he doesn't appear to be as bad as he was at Manchester United."

"But Doria's really been the stand-out, don't you agree?"

"As a matter of fact, Andriy, he's the Player of the Month!"

"Ah, should have guessed."

QPR Player of the Month

Doria

Doria has only been at London for about a month, after coming down to Loftus Road from a South American Championship with his Brazil Under-21s squad. However, he has already shown performances classier than the other two Brazilians, Wellington Nem and Wallace. His defensive work at the back this month has been a joy to behold, and in a few years time, he should grow to become one of the best defenders in the Premier League.

"Normally, I would say one is exaggerating," I looked at the write-up. "But it's true. Doria is truly brilliant.

Mark agreed, as he folded his arms. "He can easily make it at a club like Manchester United and Manchester City, if they give him a chance, of course."

March: London Rivalries

"We got messed up real bad in the Premier League this month," Mark shook his head. "One draw, two losses."

"Well, at least they were Arsenal and Chelsea," I offered, trying to sound positive. "West Ham are a good side as well so it isn't a surprise we only got a point against them."

"West Ham, a good side?" Mark raised his eyebrow. "They are 18th in the league at the moment."

"Yes....." I sighed. "Just hand over that monthly report."

"Ironically, we crushed Arsenal in the FA Cup," I remarked. "But we couldn't do the same to them in the Premier League."

"Yeah and we will be facing Manchester City in the Semi-Final right?" When I nodded, Mark grinned. "You've gotten far, Andriy!"

"Yes, yes, I have," I smiled. "Have you heard the rumors?"

"Rumors?"

My face became serious. "The financial status of this club is going down. Tony is reportedly unwilling to pump anymore money into the club... Mark Hughes' spending in the summer caused about 3/4 of this, I heard."

Mark sighed. "Oh no."

"Oh no indeed."

"Hey, Andriy, your contract expires in the summer, right?"

"... Yes, it does."

"So...?"

"So?"

Mark sighed. "Nevermind."

QPR Player of the Month

Doria

Doria showed incredible class as his defensive performances again convinced Andriy Shevchenko and the QPR fans that the Brazilian defender was a correct acquisition. Despite poor defensive performances from his teammates in losses against Chelsea and Arsenal, Doria did his job and was the stand-out performer in every one of the Rs' matches this month.

"I'll bet he'll win the Player of the Month next month again," I spoke.

"Yeah," Mark laughed. "He probably will."
