If I was Berlusconi I wouldn't exactly be so sure about hiring a manager with no managerial experience & a recent retiree to take over a club like Milan, club legend or not.

Then again, FM stories aren't really FanFiction or professional storybooks so you don't have to pay attention to little details like that :P
No, pay attention to that bit, not the 600 word update :P anyway, he might do. Dutch managers are good :D
Mr. Seedorf, good luck :P
Good luck !

Milan Appoint Seedorf

AC Milan have appointed club legend Clarence Seedorf as their new manager following the sacking of Massimiliano Allegri. The Dutch legend left the Milan club to join Botafogo, but has come back to the San Siro as a manager following his retirement due to injury.

Fans are said to be uncertain whether this signing is the right one for the club, as Seedorf has no previous management experience, although they believe Seedorf’s experience with the club will help him settle in. The Dutchman played for Milan for 10 years, making 300 league appearances. He also won two Serie A titles, and two UEFA Champions Leagues, so he certainly knows how to succeed. Whether he can pull it off in the manager’s seat at Milan remains to be seen, although he is only young and would be given another chance if he failed to succeed.

The player who made 87 appearances for the Netherlands over a 14 year period has signed a deal until the end of the 2012-13 season on £53,000 p/w.

Milan Team Meeting

Clarence Seedorf – Manager

Philippe Mexes – Milan Captain

Rest of Team

CS – ok lads, I called this team meeting so I could introduce myself to you properly before we get our preparations for the season underway. Some of you will know me from when I played here, although there’s some new faces here, so I’m looking forward to working with all of you, and I hope we can bring success to the San Siro. I also wish to tell you that Philippe Mexes is our new club captain, and he takes over from Ambrosini, and also that Kevin-Prince Boateng has replaced Abbiati as vice-captain.

PM – thanks for trusting me with this responsibility Clarence. I know Massimo was a great captain, and I hope I can be half as good as he was.

CS – speaking of Ambrosini, I am proud to announce I have had a chat with him, and he’s going to be helping out with the coaching this season. I’m sure he will be fantastic. Now lads, who are we?!

ROT – MILAN!!!

CS – What are we going to be?!

ROT - CAMPIONI!!!

CS – FORZA MILAN!!!

ROT – FORZA MILAN!!!

CS – right lads, I want to see you out on that training ground earning your place in the team, go on!
FORZA MILAN!!! :P
Love it :) keep going mate!

Squad Report

I walked into my office after a long day of getting to know the squad, sorting out pre-season, and thinking of players to buy for the squad. I sat back in my chair to have a rest, when suddenly my inbox sounded to notify me I had mail. I sat up, and saw it was from Tassotti, my assistant manager. I looked at the subject, and saw it was a squad report.

Key Players

Youth Prospects

I'm really impressed with this squad. For my first job in management I could have had a lot worse to use, and I'm extremely happy with the players I have to use.
Really looking foward to the outcome of this story forza milano !

It looks like you need a goalkeeper to replace Abbiati. Your youth prospects are amazing! Five years on and you will have a team better than Barca :P
