Transfer News
http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/811/jozyaltidoreredbullny.jpg/
Newcastle Manager Steve McClaren is getting back by Owner Mike Ashley big style and he has just shelled out $18.5m on Jozy Altidore. In a quiet January transfer window Newcastle are raising eye brows. Some sections of the media think this is a panic buy and that Altidore who is from AZ Alkmar won't even merit a spot in the Newcastle first team. He has to win over the fans quickly or this move will turn sour fast.

Tuesday 29 January
England Manager Jason LIppitt names his first squad for nearly 3 months today to play against Peru at the Boyelyn Ground home to West Ham United. There are rumours that Steven Gerrard will be back but also expect a shock or two come the time when the 23 man squad is named.

Jason Lippitt has named his squad to play Peru he has only gone with 3 strikers and Rickie Lambert keeps his place, Kevin Nolan is back in along with Jack Wilshire and Steven Gerrard, Craig Dawsons performances for West Brom have earn't himself a call up but no surprises other than that from Lippitt.

A busyish day on transfer deadline day for English Clubs and we are focussing on 5 main Transfers on Deadline day.
Lets start with the main transfer of the day being Manchester United spending $28.5m on David Alaba.

The former Beyern Munich man has signed a 3 year contract worth $61,000 a week. Alaba is understood to be delighted with the deadline day move to Manchester and has thanked Sir Alex Furguson for putting his trust in him.
Reading have signed Former Wolves man Stephen Ward for $6.75m.
http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/688/birminghamcityvwolverha.jpg/
The Irishman who has signed a 3 year deal worth $29,000 a week is hoping he can cut it at the top level once more. Reading are really hoping he can keep them in the Premier League for one more season.
West Brom have bought in two players, reletively unknown players. Fernando who has been capped by Brazil 4 times signs from Saudi Arabian club Al-Shabab. A defensive midfielder, the fans are hoping that manager Steve Clarke has really done his homework on this one.
Also joining West Brom is another Defensive Midfielder in Kim Jung-Woo. The 30 year old South Korean has 73 caps to his name for his country and it is the first time he will have ever played outside of South Korea. He has been signed from South Korean K-League team Jeonbuk.

As darkness decends over The Boyelyn Ground in London, the floodlights are turned on and the expected capacity crowd start to fill the seats, England manager Jason Lippitt has a decision to make between the sticks and Joe Hart, Englands Regular Keeper is out injured and on the morning of the match Steven Gerrard who had just been bought back into the fold suffered a training ground Calf Strain. With Bersapor's Scott Carson called into the England squad to replace Joe Hart Jason Lippitt named his team. With Andy Carroll and Matthew Lowton the only players to be issued with instructions for 45 minutes only.
Scott Carson is the choice in the Sticks and Craig Dawson gets handed his debut from the start too. Kevin Nolan who is liked by Lippitt comes into midfield and Wilshire starts ahead of James Milner. Rooney and Sinclair are upfront.

England manager had a massive smile on his face as England bossed the match against Peru. Craig Dawson had a great game but Oxlade-Chamberlain stood out again and Jagielka scored his first England senior goal. Jack Wilshire also got his first England goal too. Scott Sinclair got his 3rd goal in 6 England matches. Things are looking up for England at the moment.

BBC Sport today had a exclusive interview with Debutant Craig Dawson. He said that due to managing to win his first cap for the England Senior team, he must look to leave West Brom in search of a 'bigger team'. With no team supposidly interested in signing the 22 year old Centre Back it remains to be seen what effect this will have on his season with West Brom. Dawson had a storming debut against Peru in the friendly but in all fairness isn't expected to be named in Lippitt's next squad.

League Table update
http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/694/200pxmanchestercitysvg.png/
With Chelsea struggling for form Man City are top with 59 points, Arsenal with a game in hand are in second place 8 points adrift with Man Utd and Tottenham rounding off the top 4. Liverpool are 5th but have 2 games in hand over the three above them and 4 games in hand over Man City. At the other end of the table Sunderland and Southampton look doomed on 23 points, Fulham are 18th on 27 points with Reading and Swansea just above them.

Darren Bent and Bobby Zamora who can't find any way into Jason Lippitt's England squad are top scorers along with Steve Morison.

Sunday 24th February
Aston Villa and Manchester United competed in the Capital One Cup earlier today. Both teams have won this trophy numerous times before. Aston Villa got off to a flying start, Barry Bannan ran down the wing, played it inside to Gabby Agbonlahor who skinned 3 players before forcing Anders Lindegaard to charge at him, he laid the ball off to Albrighton who tapped in. Aston Villa dominated the match until added time where kagawa picked up a pass from Wayne Rooney and struck it hard and high into the corner to equilise and take it to extra time.
In extra time on the 97th minute Kagawa turned provider as he crossed in a short corner from Van Persie for Vidic to head into the top of the net. Had United snatched a win they did not deserve? No is the answer as Aston Villa hit back, Richard Dunne a rock at the back intercepted a pass got it to N'Zogbia and was laid off to Agbonlahor who in turn gave it to Stephen Warnock. Charles N'Zogbia then had continued a run in which Warnock had seen and played a delightful through ball to N'Zogbia who hit it first time with venom into the bottom right hand corner and that was 2-2 surely a penalty shootout was on the cards. Aston Villa was not finished though and on the 111th minute Bannan intercepted a ball and laid it off to El Ahmadi, passed it to Agbonlahor in his own half played it to N'zogbia who played it to Agbonlahor into Bent for a 1-2 to which Agbonlahor finishes into the Bottom left hand corner and ASTON VILLA WIN THE CUP!! Villa play in the Europa League next season

Saturday 16th March
Lippitt announces squad for the game in the Ukraine. Jack Cork of Southampton and Steven Caulker of Spurs are the uncapped players to be included. Steven Gerrard is also back in the team and Darren Bent and Gabby Agbonlahor are in in place of Rickie Lambert and Andy Carroll. This is such a important match for Englands World Cup Qualifying ambitions.

Tuesday 26th March
Joe Hart is injured on International duty again! Steven Gerrard WILL win his 100th cap today and Scott Carson will start in goal. Upfront Wayne Rooney misses out on a starting spot as Bent plays upfront with Sinclair. Wilshire and Oxlade-Chamberlain will be playing the wings again. Steven Caulker will be on the bench. Jagielka partners Cahill in defence and Lowton is preferred to Glen Johnson and Leighton Baines is also reinstated to the starting line up.

England Trounced by Ukraine. England Manager Jason Lippitt looked on furiously from the touch line as his England Flops could not hit a barn door. It leaves England in 3rd in the table 3 points off Poland and the Ukraine.

Unlucky against Ukraine, but loving the prem updates. Good Luck :D

Domestic and Europe Update

The Premier League sees Manchester City still top. They are almost there to retain there title. ManUtd are second at the moment but Arsenal have two games in hand over the Manchester club and should end up in second once there games in hand have been played. Tottenham round off the top 4. At the other end of the table Sunderland and Southampton are fighting to stay up. Fulham's dreadful form continues and they are heading out of the premier league as things stand. Reading are only 1 point above the relegation zone, Swansea look just far enough ahead to me

Nigel Adkins has become the first Post Season Managerial casulty of the Premier League. Southampton who finished 20th in the Premier League missed out on safety by just 3 points. Adkins is said to understand why he has been let go but hopes Southampton will welcome him back at some point later on in his career. Bookies William Hill and Coral have made Stale Solbakken the 4/1 Favourite for the vacant post, the Norwegian manager who managed Wolves until March 2013 has competition from Owen Coyle 6/1, Harry Redknapp 10/1 and Keith Curle 12/1.
Eurosport news can confirm that Fulham are also discussing the future of there current manager Martin O'Neill but he is thought to be safe until next season atleast, we dont expect Sunderland to fire Ian Holloway either.

In other news Roberto Mancini has been hailed a 'GOD' at Manchester City as they have added the Champions League to the Premier League title. Goals from Lescott and Tevez cancelled out a early Arjen Robben goal to bag Manchester City there first Champions League trophy. Speaking After the match Mancini said, 'We played well and I always new we would win.' As usual man of little words.

The Europa League was also won by a English club as at the Amsterdam Arena in Holland a Leonard Kweuke was enough to bag Spurs there first Europa League Trophy since 1984. AVB has certinatly put his Chelsea hell behind him.

In the Championship Blackpool won the league by a massive 9 points. Watford who were rated at about 200/1 to win the Championship at the start of the season come back up to the Premier League by finishing second, ahead of Nottm Forest by just 1 point, they will be joined by Nottm Forest who through Cox on 110 minutes booked a huge payday for the team! They will need to buy players in the transfer window though to be able to fight to stay in the Premier League.

In the F.A Cup Final at Wembley Chelsea defeated Arsenal 4-2 after Extra time. Hazard gave Chelsea the lead with a free kick on 12 minutes. Giroud the equilised on 42 minutes with a unstoppable 25 yard drive into the top right hand corner. It was boring after that and extra kicked into life with Mikel hitting first with a sweet finish into the bottom right hand corner. Santi Corzola then crossed the ball in from the byline and Koscielny rose the highest to power a header into the roof of the net.then it was all Chelsea and Arsenal got very jaded. Ramires rounded 4 Arsenal players and the keep to slide into a empty net, but then the best goal of the game cam on the 119th minute. Mata 35 yards out struck a free kick with venom and accuracy to dip underneath the bar to bring the F.A Cup home for new manager Marcelo Bielsa, speaking to journalists through a translater he stated to win the F.A cup is what all managers dream of and stated that Chelsea will be extremely busy in the transfer market in the summer to challenge the two Manchester Clubs.

International Squad Selection (San Marino) and the friendly vs Canada
So last time England played they didn't turn up and got outplayed by Ukraine surely this is a good chance for them to get it back together against San Marino. Lippitt has rung the changes. Scott Carson is injured as is Steven Caulker. Four uncapped players enter the squad, Gary Hooper wanted by Everton, Nathan Dyer for Swansea who is wanted by Tottenham, David Stockdale and Grant Holt also in the squad. James Milner is out and Ashley young is back in the England squad. Aaron Lennon and Theo Walcott also come back in.
http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/705/jasonlippittnewsinbox6.png/
Manager Jason Lippitt has said that he will be going back to the 4-2-3-1 and that it will NOT be Wayne Rooney upfront so there is a spot up for grabs for England.

Just as that press conference finished Jason LIppitt dashed off to make a Phone call
JL - Jason Lippitt
SG - Steven Gerrard
JL: Hello this is Jason, what can I do for you Steven
SG: You have left me out of the squad for the San Marino game, I feel I am too much of a big name to be left out and I would like you to explain why you have left me out?
JL: Well Steven that is very easy to explain. We are playing San Marino, a couple of times while I have been in charge you have not given your best performances for your country.
SG interupts: That is because you pick the wrong players, you have the wrong captain in Wayne Rooney and your team talks are shocking!
JL: If that is the case Steven I do not wish to have a player like you playing for England while I am in charge.
SG: No Problem I will quit international football this instance. Steven Gerrard hangs up.

Eurosport News bring you exclusive information that Steven Gerrard has quit international football at the age of 33. He made 100 caps and scored 20 goals. He says its due to differances with England manager Jason Lippitt and for as long as Lippitt is in charge he will not be available for selection.
Mate you need to keep the likes of Gerrard available because he has always performed for me. That really sucks lol. One of my players quit the international scene but it was only scott carson so couldn't care less lol
