Transfer Update

Former Aston Villa Player Signs As Two More Are In At Brakes

Brakes manager Jason Lippitt today confirmed two more new signings. Chez Isaac, 20 signs from Boreham Wood and becomes the youngest player in Brakes' history to be a player/coach, coaching the Under 18's. He has signed a full time contract and started his career off at Watford then moved to Boreham Wood on loan followed by another loan move to Tamworth before signing for free at Boreham Wood. Leamington pounced and see a bright future.

The second signing is a big one. He has played 22 times in the Premier League and scored 2 goals for Aston Villa. When he played for Halesowen Town and St. Noets he scored 90 goals in 4 seasons, Stefan Moore has joined Leamington Brakes for free. He rejected the offer from League 2 outfit Burton Albion because he thinks that Brakes will be in League 2 in 2 seasons time.
Leamington Manager Jason Lippitt is ecstatic to have finally landed the man he tried ELEVEN times to convince to come to Leamington.

Stieber Joins for free

Leamington Brakes Manager Jason Lippitt has today signed another former Aston Villa player on a free. Andras Stieber has been handed a two year deal by Lippitt who then also stated that some other players will now leave and more will join. The new Captain of Brakes will be Centre Back Tom Hutchinson after Jamie Hood was released on a free transfer.



Sunday 14th July

James Norwood Joins on a Free

Brakes today wrapped up yet another signing by signing former Forest Green Rovers left midfielder James Norwood. He signs a 2 year deal worth £1,100 a week. Leamington are quite rightly justifying themselves as a decent outfit. They are picking up very good players for next to nothing and will surely soon find themselves in the running early on. The only thing that the Boss seems happy about is the strikers he has as they got Brakes there.

Leather In Too!

Brakes today also confirmed another signing Scott Leather comes in for free again from Altrincham, the Centre Back can also play at Right Back and is looking forward to life in the Blue Square North.

Leamington today clinched the signing of Clinton Morrison from Colchester United for just £20,000. Brakes fans are ecstatic that someone of Morrison's calibre has joined the club and although he is a lot older than Lippitt usually goes for but could not turn down a chance to sign a ex premier league player. 'The move was ideal for Clinton' Lippitt said. 'He lives in Leamington and now can easily commute each day'

Wednesday 24th July

Leamington Sign Leon Redwood

Brakes today captured another higher league player by signing winger Leon Redwood from Brentford. Redwood who started his career at Brighton made no appearances in his time there, but had loan spells at Lewes, Dover Athletic and then was signed for free by Brentford. He moves for £18,000 and has expressed his determination to get into the starting eleven as soon as he can.

Jason Lippitt has now got a Huge squad of players but have signed most of them up on a Backup for the first team contract so whoever is in, is in and whoever misses out then tough but knowing Lippitt he most definitely knows who he wants to start with and not to start with.

In only there first season in the Blue Square North Leamington Brake have been made Even Money Favourites to get promotion. We caught up with Boss Jason Lippitt earlier on today to find out what he thought and he responded very defiantly with 'We are favourites for a reason, we have just got promotion and you look at the guys we have bought in, Al (bangura), Clinton(morrison) and Stefan(moore) we are in a very, very strong position, I will not be happy if we don't get promoted and acknowledge my job will probably be up. The fact we have gone professional shows how ambitious we are to achieve our goals.

Kavanagh Joins As Brakes Slam The Transfer Book Shut

Brakes have made there last signing of Pre Season as Sean Kavanagh, A Left Back from Fulham joins for £30,000. Kavanagh started his career at Fulham was released to Belvedere FC in the Rep. Of Ireland and then bought back for £80,000 by fulham but made no first team appearances so has moved to Brakes to compete for a place.

Brakes have struggled first two games but the second half of the Vauxhall Motors match was all Leamington. Klukowski's goal was a screaming 30 yard free kick and Lippitt celebrated like it was the winning goal but Leamington remain with no losses.

Brakes had a win but a shock scorer as CB Chris Blackburn scored and was awesome in defence putting a man of the match performance in. Perpetuini scored his second goal in 2 games too. Brakes are now 13 games unbeaten in all competitions.

Tamworth were dominated by The Brakes and with Chris Blackburns 3rd goal of the season and Chez Isaac's first goal for the club makes sure that The Brakes storm back.
Leamington Brakes also announced the signing of Tom Hutchinson's Brother Eddie Hutchinson. E Hutchinson is a Centre Midfielder and comes straight into the team for the match against Nantwich Town

Leamington carry on there impressive start. After this result it puts Brakes into second in the table. One defeat at the moment is a good start for Leamington. Manager Jason Lippitt said this of the form 'It has been an awesome start for us. Tom(Hutchinson) has been a very strong player at the start of this season. Stefan Moore got his first goal for the club too and I am very happy with the whole squad.'
