West Brom have today completed the signing of 32 year old midfielder Rodrigo Taddei on loan from Roma until the end of the season. Regis described the transfer as a great coup, "Personally i think signing him is a great coup on loan, he brings with him a wealth of experience and hopefully can be an important team member".
CARLOS FIERRRRO! What a signing mate, good start, keep it up! :D

thanks :D I'm willing to play Fierro too but he will have to dislodge Lukaku out of my team as i only play with 1 striker, and he just scored twice on opening day.

August Results

West Brom 4-1 QPR (Lukaku x2, Morrison, Long)

Fulham 2-2 West Brom (Morrison, Mulumbu)

West Brom 2-1 Rochdale (Fierro x2) Capital One Cup

Some good results this month, especially as we were 2-0 down against Fulham. Maybe we can push for top half this season and then go for Europe once we have secured a position in the top 10.
Our 19 year old on-loan striker Romelu Lukaku claimed the Premier League young player of the month, which means he is starting to show signs of his 4.5* potential.
Good results mate keep it up! What tactics you use?

Fierro's had a solid debut so we'll see how the future goes.

I'll post a screenshot of the tactic in a minute, will do league table at the end of September as there has only been two games so far.
The tactic i'm using for anyone who is interested, just a basic 4-4-1-1 with a few tweaks.
September Results!

West Brom 3-1 Newcastle (Lukaku, Morrison, Mulumbu)

Man City 5-0 West Brom

Arsenal 0-4 West Brom (Mulumbu, Morrison, Lukaku x2)

West Brom 2-1 Fulham (Lukaku, Morrison) Capital One Cup

West Brom 1-1 Everton (Lukaku)

Romelu Lukaku had again pushed for young player of the month but finished in 2nd place behind Man City left back David Alaba. We have also got a tough draw in the capital one cup as we face Chelsea at Home.
Some nice results, especially against Arsenal!

I know, after the Man City match, i just thought we would get another beating, quite surprised when the goals were flowing in during the second half.
With those results you look like you are threatening a Champions league spot :D

Jim White- "West Brom manager Cyrille Regis has today been hailed a tactical god by football fans and critics alike as he has guided the club to an astonishing 1-0 win over Chelsea in the Capital One Cup 4th round. Jonas Olsson managed to score in the 82nd minute of the game and the baggies held on for the win to ensure a 5th round set up".

The match stats from the game.

Some of the other results from the round.
October Results!

West Brom 2-0 Wigan (Dorrans x2)

West Brom 1-1 Stoke (Lukaku)

Swansea 3-3 West Brom (Jones, Lukaku, Brunt)

West Brom 1-0 Chelsea (Olsson) Capital One Cup

The month's results could not have been better. The win over Chelsea was shocking and we did well against Swansea considering we were twice 2 goals down. Youssuf Mulumbu came second in the player of the month award, while below is a screen shot of the league stats and table.
