I am quite confident that the team does not need much development in order for us to win everything we compete for, which is an aim that I am desperate to achieve for a third season in a row. I want to focus on improving the youth side of the club and the board of directors have already invested yet more money to improve them from the "top youth facilities" rating we already have. I can't see me needing to spend money on the squad for at least three seasons so it will be great to look at developing youth players and giving them game time.

Transfers Out

This season seems to becoming simply a money making season. I am so confident in the depth of the squad and the quality of the players that not a lot of rebuilding needs to take place. I have thought carefully of which players to allow to move on and I can’t see us missing any of the ones who have left for a new challenge. I was glad to have made a profit on Antoine Griezmann and Glen Johnson and Jose Enrique had to leave if Robinson, Flanagan, Wilson and Martelli are going to develop.
Nice amount of money made there James :)

My current aim is to win all competitions with this current squad of players for the next three seasons minimum without spending any money. At that stage the likes of Lucas Leiva, Endinson Cavani, Fabio Borini and Luis Suarez careers will be winding down. If I have managed to win a lot of competitions in that time it will mean I will have a rather hefty budget which will be needed to replace the older players.

Thanks for reading Blue.

A great start to the season which saw us continue our rich vein of form into this brand new season. It was a difficult match against Manchester City but it was very pleasing to see us pull of a penalty win. Livio Martelli and Jack Wilshere have been thrown in the deep end have both started both games and appear to have really started to settle in already. I can see this being a very good season for us.

Player of the Month – Coutinho/Jack Wilshere

European Super Cup

I have to admit that last season’s defeat to Borussia Dortmund was a huge kick in the teeth to start with. However, it did seem to propel us into unstoppable form for the remainder of the season. This meant that the first aim of this season was to win the competition this time around, and it had been more favourable by pitting us against a much inferior Atalanta who had not been given any chance of winning by the bookies. What happened in the match even I didn’t see coming!

This result has to go down in the history of the competition but also Liverpool FC’s history. Whe absolutely dominated this game from start to finish. I wasn’t even shown a highlight of a Atalanta chance which showed how well we controlled the game right from defence to attack. Coutinho showed that this season may just be the making of him with a stunning hat trick which included two sublime free kicks. Jack Wilshere didn’t even start the game but it didn’t take him long to make his mark on the game and has already helped himself to his first Liverpool FC hat trick. Two trophies already – mission started.
Can you lose for a change, James? :P

Incredible story and a well deserve nomination to the SotM. Hope to see you there again next month.

I could but it would become depressing rapidly. Really hoping for a third season as the invincibles; always the possibility of winning every Premier League game. Thanks for reading.

It was rather surpising that we won by so many goals. Another trophy for the already full cabinet. Thanks for reading Blue.

Champions League Group Draw

I am very confident that my team will progress to the next round which will see us well on the way to retaining this trophy for the third season in a row. As a result of my confidence in the team’s ability of beating these teams with ease, I will be utilising the opportunity to play younger players. You will see the likes of Luca Lezzerini in goal with support from Livio Martelli and Danny Wilson. The strike force will be fronted by Yassine Benzia with the likes of Edinson Cavani and Luis Suarez being left out until the tougher latter stages of the competition.

I'm confident that the team will be able to progress with all wins and good performances to go alongside. It will be interesting to see who comes top of Group G with FC Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain getting to go up against eachother. Thanks for reading.
Could be a tricky group James :/
