Bush is rumoured to be interested in the current vacant New York Red Bulls post. It is also rumoured that the Seattle Board have offered him an ultimatum.
Already changing clubs?! :P

It's Bush, he'll take the quickest route to glory. ;)
Nice start to the story. I tried a Seattle Sounders save once, but found it tough. I made a banner a while ago while practising as I was on this save, but never got to use it, so feel free if you want to.

Good luck with the story, really hope you can get it going further and better than I could.

Thank you! It's not the easiest save i've done!

It's not the strongest team i could have fielded, but it's definitely good enough to beat the teams i've got :P

Bush called this match the "Must win" so early on in the season. "If you want a shot at the title, you have to beat teams like this" After peppering Cudicini in goal multiple times, it was Eddie Johnson who finally broke though with a header on the stroke of half time. The first half ended without a shot for Los Angeles, it appears Bush's words had some effect. It took one whole hour before they finally mustered a shot, even then it was a wayward effort by Robbie Keane. Despite the lack of chances, Gonzalez rose highest from a corner to head in the equaliser. But their match plan came undone when Donvoan was fouled in the area, which lead to Robbie Keane scoring the resulting penalty.

Seattle's second game in 3 days saw them line up without Joseph, Evans or Rossales. However the game opened up nicely for them after 30 minutes when Sammy Ochoa broke from his marker to tap into an empty net from a cut back. Burch then doubled their lead with a trademark free kick from a ridiculous angle just 30 minutes later. Philadelphia pulled one back after Adu's free kick came off the bar only to see Casey tap on to the re bound. Gspuring's double save kept Seatlle's lead in place for the 3 points.

The same team faced FC Dallas in this mls fixture, but it was Dallas who nearly got off to the perfect start, but Benitez's free kick grazed the bar before going over. They finally found the net before half time, Hassli rose above the keeper to nod it home. On the hour mark, Alonso released Ochoa, but the striker failed to hit the target, and Seattle struggled with chances from then on out. Johnson came close when he hit the bar, but there was nothing going for Seattle.

Seattle had the opportunities early on. but the Real Salt Lake keeper was equal to the chances. Eddie Johnson coming closest with his shot hitting the post. Lovel Palmer opened the scoring on the hour mark with a strike outside the area. Not much really happened during the rest of this match.

Major League Soccer
Saturday 19th May - 2.00PM
Vancouver (3 -2 ) Seattle
Att; 21,000
Star Man; Patrick Ianni
Stadium; BC Place

One of these teams needed to turn their fortunes around, and Bush was hoping it was Seattle.Bush got his wish after Tiffert broke and found the corner with a well placed strike. Vancouver soon equalised though as Camilo placed his shot first time in the far corner. 8 Minutes from time Eddie Johnson was set through by Powers, rounded the keeper and found the net, the lead didn't last long though as a Kobyashi free kick put things back on level terms. Just when things look finished, Miller headed home to give Vancouver the lead for the first time.

Columbus simply couldn't cope with Eddie Johnson as he bagged a hat-trick in Washington, His first was an equaliser after 57 minutes with a close range header, his 2nd was a deftly executed finish just 3 minutes later. On 89 minutes Eddie Johnson rounded up his hat trick with a well struck effort from the edge of the box.

Att; 9,753
Star Man; Oswaldo Minda
Stadium; Home Depot Center

In a game that lacked any real integrity, the first goal came from a Troy Roberts own goal after good work from Eddie Johnson on the 16th minute. Chances were a rarity and fans were at danger of falling asleep until Oswaldo Minda stepped up yo score a 35 yard curler 10 minutes from time.

Performance
Bush was dissapointed with this months performance, taking only 2 wins was "a nightmare". The month of May say Seattle slip down into 6th.

Star Player
http://sportspressnw.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/Eddie-Johnson-1.jpg

Johnson's consitant performances this month earned him the star player award. He was a regular nuisance in front of goal. "Lets hope he keeps it up" said Bush.

BREAKING;

Bush has sacked his assistant Brian Schmezter.
Schmezter, who had been at Seattle since 2001, was reportedly "bringing bad light around the club"

"His words were ineffectual, he acted like a pre-Madonna, he tactical advise was useless and worst of all he brought a negative atmosphere." Bush said.

"It doesn't bother me" Schmezter said when we caught up with him. "I've looking for a way out of that club for a while, try my hand at some proper managing. When Bush was appointed i knew this was my ticket out of here"
When asked if he purposefully sent around a negative atmosphere, he replied; "Let's just say i made no effort to perk the lads up."

Seattle will now be searching for a new Assistant, as well as a new coach to help run proceedings.
Nice update :)

US CUP
Tuesday 29th May- 7.30PM
Seattle (1-2) Tampa Bay
Att; 4,790
Star Man; Mulholland
Stadium; Starfire Sports Complex
http://www.examiner.com/images/blog/wysiwyg/image/starfirestand_530.jpg

This match saw the timely return of Sharlie Joseph on the bench, and is Bush's first match with out his assistant manager.. Tiffert return to the starting line up in place for the injured Alonso. Joseph was introduced much earlier than Bush would have wanted, but an injury to Tiffert after 20 minutes left him with no other choice. Seattle peppered Tampa's goal for over half an hour until Ochoa finally turned in one of those chances with a simple tap in. Seattle had to hold onto their lead with only ten men for much of the second half, Hurtado sent off for violent conduct. Mulholland took advantage of the numerical disadvantage to equalise on a break. They then went on the take the lead wihth an Antoniuk goal. An utterly dissapointing effort.
