Muamba completes first signing

Wigan Athletic have completed the signing of Barcelona youth product, Marc Muniesa on loan.

The 23-year-old has signed his loan contract with Wigan and said that he was delighted to be playing in what he says 'the best league of the world'. Muniesa added,"Fabrice Muamba told me that I was going to get some games under my belt here at Wigan and all I want to do is play."

Wigan manager Fabrice Muamba has said he is "delighted" with the signing, and firmly believes that Muniesa will become a key player for Wigan this season. Muniesa's loan contract with Wigan ends on the summer of next year, but Wigan hold a 2.9 million buy-clause. Regarding to this, Muamba calmly said,"If he is willing to join us on the summer it would be great and he would still be playing a key role in the team. It's all up to him."

Muniesa's deal is on loan and he can play in the Capitol One Cup, Premier League and FA Cup and can't be recalled by the Spanish team. Wigan are paying half of the defender's contract and no monthly fees.

I like that you make this story with Muamba as the Head Coach :D, very interesting. Marc Muniesa will be a good player in 2 years I think, well in FM handheld he was :P

Vukcevic signs as McMannaman goes on loan

Simon Vukcevic, a Montegrin international has signed for Wigan Athletic after turning three other clubs in the Premier League. The clubs were, West Ham, Swansea and Norwich. Vukcevic seem to be lured by what Muamba said. According to the former Blackburn Rovers player, the manager assured him some games under his belt. The 26 year-old player signed a 10.5k four-year old deal with Wigan and will be looking to impress Muamba in the pre-season. The Montegrin international will be wanting to get his match fitness for the first league game in the Premier League, against Q.P.R. Meanwhile, Callum McMannaman will leave Wigan on a temporary deal to recently relegated Scottish club, Rangers F.C. The temporary deal will involve McMannaman being at the Scottish club for six months and with a recall clause available for the English club. Rangers will be paying 50% of McMannaman's stay at the club and will be looking to impress his parent club for a first-team starting place.

Vukcevic is a really good goal scorer. Great signing
Really such a good idea letting McMannaman go on loan? He could have become an important player for you even in your first season.

A great read as always Pauker. Keep it up.
