What a horrible, shocking, disgraceful month. I feel so down right now I could easily just quit right here and find a job somewhere else. The players have been nothing but pathetic all month and we sit rock bottom of the league. If October is as bad as September I have doubt in my mind that I will be sacked.

I suppose the one positive is we got our first win of the season but if I’m being honest we scabbed that. We’ve only mustered up three goals in six games whiles conceding eleven, it simply isn’t good enough.

We also managed to get ourselves knocked out of the FA Cup by a team in a lower league than us! That was a competition I really wanted to have a go at and try to get as far as possible in.

Next month already looks like a key one in my young managerial carier – If I don’t find some points from somewhere it looks like I could be getting sacked with only three months in the game.
No need to panic just yet, you can climb back up the table!
Bit of a cock-up, but if you become a managing legend, it is more interesting!

I really hope so pal, If I get sacked next month what club would want my services then?

That's a good point Toon! Thanks for your continued support.
Stick with it, another offer will come along.

I usually go this route when starting a new game and reading your progress so far it seems pretty familiar. No funds, having to sign average to bad players to fill out a squad. Initial performances dire etc.

It is usually takes me anywhere from a 6-18 months for a league club to offer a job.

It's more of a slog tbh and until you find a club/board that fits your ambition you may move around a bit but it ultimately I find it more satisfying when you come good and start winning things.

Good luck!

Thanks alot for your advice pal, I will Definatly stick with this and see what happen. If I get a better offer from somewhere else I don't think I will have any hesitation in moving.
Look at it this way, as it stands, 1 win and you're fly up into 17th spot. It might not be a great position to be in, but it's a stepping stone to get some form going =)

Phew! After a disappointing start to the month we finally pulled ourselves together, and in the end went on a very welcome four game unbeaten run. Although we are still in the relegation zone we are not bottom of the table and I’m confident with a few good results in November we can pull ourselves out of this mess.

I was somewhat critical of our defence last month but we seemed to have tightened things up at the back which is a welcome sight, but things still look bleak in front of goal. That’s now only six goals scored in eleven games. Vincent Pericard comes back from injury in a few weeks and I hope he can provide the spark we need up front.
At least you are making improvements, where were you predicted to come?
The board wanted a midtable finish which is not so bad.

I think you can do that :)

I hope so! *fingers crossed*
Looking a lot better. If every month is like that, you will survive!
