Bordeaux Relegated!

The Crisis at Bordeaux led the Club, which has won Ligue 1 Six Times, to the Third Tier of French Football.

To balance the books, Chamois Niortais FC has been promoted to the second tier of French football, as they finished 3rd in National irl in the 2023/24 season.

FINANCES

- Due to the relegation, the club lost their sponsorships. I used the Red Star sponsorship as a guide, leaving the club with 750k (this amount can increase in the game).
- We start the save with a balance of -40 million euros, an amount invested by the club's owner.
- The club already had old debts, and I decided to make life harder for those playing this save by adding a few more million to this debt! (Don't worry, you have until 2035 to pay it off).
- The Financial Fair Play record has not been touched, so the 103 million euros in debt remains from 2020/21.

SQUAD

- The relegation led to many departures, and now the club are composed only of players trained at the club.
- There is no transfer budget, and there is no room for salaries.

Tip: There are still some sell-on clauses for players, so you might be able to get some money from that.

TECHNICAL STAFF

- The entire technical team resigned after the relegation. But so you don't feel alone, two people start this new journey with you! Alain Giresse starts as Director, a club legend, and by your side on the bench as assistant manager... me. So you have no reason to give up on this save since I'm always there (at least until 2028 if my contract is not renewed) to support you.

PARTNER CLUBS

- I also removed all the partner clubs the club had, adding Boavista Futebol Clube, which is also managed by the same person who let this financial crisis reach the club.
