    No results, no text, tactic looks weak af. Might score 5 goals a game but you'll concede 8.

    I’ve been trying a similar tactic recently based on a very old (CM01-02, perhaps older?) in-built tactic called ‘Ajax’. It was basically the same shape as yours, without the shadow striker. Instead, there was another central midfielder.

    The results are very mixed, as you’d expect playing just one central defender. I’d be surprised if this worked, especially with the DM not in a defensive role. I assume you’re playing with a very good team — can’t see this working with Braintree.

    I tried all sorts of combinations — inverted wingbacks set to keep narrow, a very narrow defence etc. etc. but just couldn’t keep the goals out. I ended up feeling sorry for Harry Maguire, who was my poor solitary centre back.

    isn´t this tactic a little bit risky in the defence?

    i see nobody to defend against a quick counter
