Dominating Attacking Soccer 3-2-4-1

I played two seasons with Bayern by using this tactic and you can guess what the result was! I broke all of the opponents and won everything! But you need to be more cautious in Champions League and sometimes change this tactic to 4-1-2-2-1 to slow down and control the game as well. I always start the game with this tactic but depends on what happens in the game; in some occasion I changed to 4-1-2-2-1 in the last 30 minutes of the game to keep the result with lower risk.

The Philosophy of this tactic is to keep the ball near opponent’s penalty box and cut inside with dribbling skills or create a chance with an incisive pass into penalty box. The opposition’s defense needs to man mark all of your 5 attackers and close all spaces and zones simultaneously to ensure that you can’t dribble them or pass. But everyone knows that’s impossible!!!





For this tactic you need technically gifted players in wings and F9, players with good teamwork and passing in midfield and players with high work rate in defensive positions.
