How to run GS18
- Extract the downloaded .zip file and run the setup .exe file.
- Follow instructions until installation is finished.
- Run Football Manager 2018 and load your saved game.
- Launch Genie Scout 18 and from main menu click "Load Game".

The public edition comes with 2 banner ads. The "g" edition has no ads and includes a few minor extra features. In order to get the "g" edition, you need to donate to Eugene.

DELIVERY OF THE 'G' EDITION: Eugene has automatized the process of distribution for the "g" edition, so you will have to wait just a few minutes before you receive a download link and a key file. But only if they have sent correct contact email, correct Unique ID alongside your donation.
Make sure you check your Spam folder too.
It might take up to 24 hours though. In case of problem with your donation, please contact Eugene using the email address you'll see in the message after donation.

Bug Reports
During closed beta stage for supporters, Eugene fixed most bugs that came to surface. As a result, the public edition should be quite stable from its very first version.

Known issue: Sale value for players is not accurate and sadly we have no way of making it work as it used to be before GS13.
Any comment including bug report posted on this page will be removed on sight!
EXPORTING DATA:Please understand it is forbidden by the EULA from SI and SEGA to export all the data from the results. You should be able to export only basic information such as player name, club, age, etc.

I mean, the stats are very different
@mizie: Saying there hasn't been any improvement for years is an exaggeration. For example, GS STATS made its debut in GS18g. Also the new roles have been added. Are you missing anything else besides the rename of Limited Defender to Defensive Centre Back?
@a0s1d2f30: The player growth projection is an informed guess and in no way absolute.
@Hoppo1980: There should be a 2nd email containing the key file attached. It often ends up in spam area due to unknown file type, so make sure you check there.
There are new positions introduced for 2 years now - no update
There is a difference between FM role ability and GS role rating - no update

There were no updates at all. Don't get me wrong, I love GS and I'd love to purchase it but I can't see any improvement in the service for years now.
I have just purchased the G version and downloaded it using the links on the email. When I load the game however, it does not recognise my game (18.3) and tells me a new version exists. Clicking on the link in the dialogue box sends me to a blank page and I can't find a link on the FMScout website to this latest version "b817" Could you tell me where to find the link for the latest version.
