As of November 3rd, the special "g" edition of Genie Scout is available for free! Normally this edition requires a license and is only given to Eugene's direct supporters who donate to keep the development of this brilliant tool alive.
Genie Scout 20g has no ads and includes some extra features, such as GS STATS, search by role rating and probability of development.

How to run GS20
- Extract the downloaded .zip file and run the setup .exe file.
- Follow instructions until installation is finished.
- Run Football Manager 2020 and load your saved game.
- Launch Genie Scout 20 and from main menu click "Load Game".

The public edition comes with 2 banner ads. The "g" edition has no ads and includes a few minor extra features. In order to get the "g" edition, you need to donate to Eugene.

DELIVERY OF THE 'G' EDITION: Eugene has automatized the process of distribution for the "g" edition, so you will have to wait just a few minutes before you receive a download link. Another email containing the key file might take a while though. But only if they have sent correct contact email, correct Unique ID alongside your donation.
Make sure you check your Spam folder too.
It might take up to 24 hours though. In case of problem with your donation, please contact Eugene using the email address you'll see in the message after donation.

Bug Reports
During closed beta stage for supporters, Eugene fixed most bugs that came to surface. As a result, the public edition should be reasonably stable from its very first version.

Known issue: Sale value for players is not accurate and sadly we have no way of making it work as it used to be before GS13.

EXPORTING DATA:Please understand it is forbidden by the EULA from SI and SEGA to export all the data from the results. You should be able to export only basic information such as player name, club, age, etc.

@charmander: Thanks for the detailed remarks. I believe Eugene should be able to address these minor issues in the next update.
@Rols574: If you changed computer, your unique ID must have changed which means you need a new key file. Send an email to Eugene with your new ID.
@IchimV79: Have you reported your issue in the GS forum? What error are you getting?
@fellippo10: I haven't noticed slower loading speed compared to last year's version for example. Are you referring to really old versions where loading the actual saved game file was possible?
@Cram: No, it shouldn't work in online games where you are a guest because you're essentially 'streaming' the game and don't have the game data locally.
@Loverboymk: Eugene is still trying to figure out a more stable solution for the in-game scout. I noticed some interesting feedback in the GS forum about it recently, so I'm hoping that might help him.
edit: complete uninstall/reinstall and it's running fine again.
Staff Changes:
This year, new staff roles such as Loan Manager, Technical Director, etc have not been added.
Respective attributes for these staff such as Judging Staff Ability, Negotiating have not been added this year.
Staff roles such as Data Analyst, General Manager, Director of Football, Under 23/18/Reserves Staff are still incorrectly displayed in Staff search results.
Player Changes:
Vision attribute is still wrongly named as Creativity since Genie Scout 18 and is also misplaced alphabetically in player search and player profile when searching for mental attributes.
Aerial Reach attribute is still wrongly named as Aerial Ability since Genie Scout 18.
Consistency, Dirtiness, Important Matches, Injury Proneness and Versatility still appear under Mental and Physical attribute lists in Player Search, instead of Hidden Attributes.
Hidden Attributes is still wrongly named as Mental Traits since Genie Scout 18.
Finally, default weightage to some attributes such as Eccentricity being -1 should be changed.
Even player roles have been the same since Genie Scout 14. Target Man, Fast Striker, etc are no longer being used in game. Genie scout was supposed to make it easier to search for players according to their roles. At least select the highlighted attributes for each role, rather than the user having to Alt+Tab between Genie Scout and FM. We are not asking for a lot, just a basic UI redesign that has not been done in a long time for a stale product by a lazy programmer.
Club Changes:
Youth Facilities, Junior Coaching, Youth Recruitment are incorrectly worded.
Yearly, I buy your product. I would expect it to be updated accordingly with regards to the changes in Football Manager.
And if so, are there any issues ingame?
Yes, there is "but".
Have anyone fixed the problems of "in-game" stats showing by Genie? I can't make it work. It worked for me just once before update and then it's gone.

I have the last updated game 20.4.1. And I run the FM Genie Scout as Administrator. But still doesnt work. Please help!!
