How to run GS26
- Extract the downloaded .zip file and run the setup .exe file.
- Follow instructions until installation is finished.
- Run Football Manager 2026 and load your saved game.
- Continue to the next day in-game.
- Launch Genie Scout 26 and from main menu click "Load Game".

The public edition comes with 2 banner ads. The "g" edition has no ads and includes a few minor extra features. In order to get the "g" edition, you need to donate to Support GS.
Genie Scout 26g Explained
DELIVERY OF THE 'G' EDITION: The process of distribution for the "g" edition has been automatized, so you will have to wait just a few minutes before you receive a download link. Another email containing the key file might take a while though. But only if they have sent correct contact email, correct Unique ID alongside your donation.
Make sure you check your Spam folder too.
It might take up to 24 hours though. In case of problem with your donation, please reach out to the email address you'll see in the message after donation.

Bug Reports
During closed beta stage for supporters, most bugs that came to surface were fixed. As a result, the public edition should be reasonably stable from its very first version.

Known issues:
- Sale value for players is not accurate and sadly we have no way of making it work as it used to be before GS13.
- In-Game Scout ('g' edition feature) doesn't currently work.
Any comment including bug report posted on this page will be removed on sight!
EXPORTING DATA:Please understand it is forbidden by the EULA from SI and SEGA to export all the data from the results. You should be able to export only basic information such as player name, club, age, etc.

I tried several times to load the application and always there is a pop-up window saying "list index out of bounds". And then immediately "Access violation at address 00AE44EA in module...".
How can i fix it?

For all the people that paid for the "g" version I think it doesn't feel right. Paying for something that you can't use will always be frustrating
If we are only a few dozens I could agree, but I think that we are many more. Tell me if I'm wrong
How many columns can I export with G Scout?
Because I'm exporting more than 30, G Scout gives me this error: "List index out of bounds (-2)"

@ricstone: You should have an email with download links. Alternatively, you can find one if you Check For New Version within the app.
@DirkGently68: As stated on our site rules under posting guidelines: "Anything we don't develop (tools) nor publish (content) here, should be avoided."
GS doesn't exactly have a poor record for timely updates after a game patch, and this particular occasion was an exception. It's also important to understand that the GS creator doesn't do this as a full-time job, so it's reasonable to have family and full-time job prioritized over this.
In regards to the data loading speed of GS, we're aware there's plenty of room for improvement. It requires a major refactoring, which will eventually happen. I know because I've developed a live editor app which loads data in mere seconds.
Having been forced to FMRTE for the last few days I now wish there was some amalgamation of the two. I do not and have no intention of using the Editor part of FMRTE, but it has been updated much faster and I love the fact you can add your own tactics which is a big miss for Genie Scout, but I love the ability of Genie Scout to export CSV, even if I have to manually add a load of info it won't export.
Also loading the game in FMRTE is so much faster than Genie Scout, not sure what is going on there.
