FM Genie Scout 18 Release Date
Public edition
While we can't give you a firm date for the release of the public version, we should be able to release it towards the end of November. It usually arrives approximately 4 weeks after the "g" edition.Update (Nov 27th): Eugene posted a comment on this very page, explaining that GS18 public edition will arrive either on Friday night (Dec 1st) or on Saturday (Dec 2nd).
Update (Dec 1st): Eugene informed me he'll be able to prepare public GS18 tomorrow (Dec 2nd). He doesn't want to set any specific hour though.
Update (Dec 2nd): Genie Scout 18 is now available for free download.
"g" edition
The "g" edition, which is the one for people who donate, is available since 27 October (beta 1). Current version (beta 10) is compatible with the 18.1.3 version (for both FM18 and FMT18).You can now donate for GS18 "g" edition.

The "g" edition is ad-free and has certain features compared to the public edition.

Yes! If you still have FM17 installed, you can try the "g" edition of Genie Scout 17 for free. It's not a trial, it's 100% unlocked forever.

Just donated and got GS working but unfortunately IGS doesn't seem to work, it is defo ticked in genie scout but when I hover over the 'i' next to a player I just get the normal info. My FM game is being played in 'windowed' mode so unsure what the issue is?
Eugene will update GS18g for the 18.0.3 patch tomorrow (before lunch most likely).
Why it takes so long to see a player stats, when i double click on a player i have to wait 30 seconds until it's open. on the stats bar show that is "loading history"....i have a very good PC, i7,12 GbRAM and SSD so i don't think is a hardware problem
FYI, there is a known problem with betas 1 and 2 in regards to "check for new version"; it doesn't work. That was fixed in beta 3. With every new version, normally you should receive an email from Eugene. If you haven't, please message me and I'll pass you a download link.
@shagua: Surely GS is more in-depth and advanced than FMSE for scouting, but not being able to find certain players in the same saved game isn't one of the differences between them.
NVM - Found Eugene's email with the download link, it ended up in my spam folder
can't rely on fmse18 for that, since some of my players isn't even searchable, doubt that it would have the complete list of the hot stuff that i'm into

Mine worked perfect for a week and now it says my version of football manager is not supported, is this because of an update? should i get a new download? thank you!
