FM Genie Scout 18 Release Date
Public edition
While we can't give you a firm date for the release of the public version, we should be able to release it towards the end of November. It usually arrives approximately 4 weeks after the "g" edition.Update (Nov 27th): Eugene posted a comment on this very page, explaining that GS18 public edition will arrive either on Friday night (Dec 1st) or on Saturday (Dec 2nd).
Update (Dec 1st): Eugene informed me he'll be able to prepare public GS18 tomorrow (Dec 2nd). He doesn't want to set any specific hour though.
Update (Dec 2nd): Genie Scout 18 is now available for free download.
"g" edition
The "g" edition, which is the one for people who donate, is available since 27 October (beta 1). Current version (beta 10) is compatible with the 18.1.3 version (for both FM18 and FMT18).You can now donate for GS18 "g" edition.

The "g" edition is ad-free and has certain features compared to the public edition.

Yes! If you still have FM17 installed, you can try the "g" edition of Genie Scout 17 for free. It's not a trial, it's 100% unlocked forever.
How can I get Genie Scout 18 public edition asap?
The public edition of GS18 will be directly added to fmscout.com the moment it is ready.But we can notify you via email when this happens, so you won't miss time at all.

Regarding the delays in license delivery, please be patient. As stated before, Eugene was having problems with his internet, so I'm guessing that situation didn't improve much. I've alerted him a few times, so he's aware.
@dnnzvz: Ratings are more important.
@Pro Benchwarmer: Supposedly that should be fixed with latest beta 2. Issues should be reported on GS forum.
EDIT: I know it says don't post in the comments below but as I say, not sure where else to.
is there a compatability issue currently?
i have the beta 2 of the game and i also have beta 2 of genie scout downloaded and installed, but it says my game data is not found when i try to load in genie scout.
was working fine up until now.

@Maximus84: It's not a known problem at all. This happens when you don't have a license properly installed.
@ii_play: Yes, donating to Eugene for GS18g will get you access to it. But if you have FM17, you can get GS17g for free.
@moles1909: It's a known issue (for Eugene) and he's trying to fix it. In other words, IGS is not ready yet.
you can try copy the original link from your email and change all "1" to "2", then should get the updates one.

I'm very interested in trying out the G version of Genie scout; unfortunately tho, I don't have the previous year versions. My question is - If i donate to the brilliant Eugene, can I get into the Genie scout 18 beta ? Also, what are the other conditions?
Where can I find it? When I try to look for a new version in the Genie it can't seem to find any "cannot find data in web"?
We are aware of the transfer status issue and will be fixed soon.
Those of you who experienced delays with the delivery of your GS18 keys, Eugene had a problem with his internet connection yesterday. It's all good now and keys delivery should be fast again.
@Leon_suris: Thanks for your suggestions. Our immediate priority is to address any bugs and inconsistencies our users encounter. And implement the brand new GS Stats feature which is currently just collecting data.
