How to use FMLE

Current version 1.10.6 is compatible with the following Windows editions: Steam, Epic & Game Pass (including Console). Even the Demo.

Unzip and install by running the .exe file.
Open Football Manager 26 and load your saved game.
Open FMLE 26.
Click on Load Data button. You need to be online for your first run and after an update.
Search for clubs, players, staff.
Double-click on an item from the results.
The profile will open in a tab and you can edit data there.
Once done editing click on the Save Changes button for the changes to take effect.

The next feature update will drop this week but won't include future transfers as this requires more research and testing. However, it's going to introduce Stadium Search and standalone Stadium profiles, some minor new features (such as editing shirt name and city of birth for players), and stability fixes related to adding contract clauses/bonuses.

I'm planning to switch focus to extreme edge case testing in order to solidify stability and peace of mind for all actions already possible in FMLE. Feature updates will slow down, but will still aim to deliver at least 1 per month as promised.

@limali12: You need a license to unlock the Save Changes button.

@Jordengold: I can't replicate this. For example, I tried to change the expiry date of a random player's contract from 2032 to 2046 and even added a min fee release clause, yet nothing crashed. Please post in the FMLE forum and explain the exact steps, what you did exactly.

@vaydiem: It's not something obvious that I can replicate. And by that I mean it's not happening for me. I've sent you a message on the live chat yesterday with questions. Reply there or send me a pm.

I'm experiencing the exact issue as @thegianni. Moved a player to my team and now he's available for 2 teams which I couldn't fix.

@Gabri753: I've responded to your forum post. I couldn't replicate the issue, but I have a couple of questions for you in the forum.

@westo22: It's on my list of things to look into going forward, but not sure when.

@Lenzar: We had published a free editor in the distant past (before FM17). Free isn't viable for something that requires this amount of time and dedication. And still, there's a lot of value given away for free with scouting and advanced search.

@TheGianni: We've talked about this on chat. I encourage you to share your experience with that.

Hey, I wanted to report a bug, or maybe it was something I did wrong... Anyway I'd like to solve it.
Basically I transferred a player to my team with the editor, first match of the season he comes up as unavailable as he played another match. Looking up his career it turns out he is somehow registered as playing for another team also. I tried setting him as free transfer with the editor and signing him back but the issue remains.
Is there anything I can do to fix it? Would you be able to help if I sent you the save file?
If it's not possible I could start the save again, but I would be happier to fix it, as I already spent quite a few hours setting everything up.

@Stam on the next update is it possible to add the feature to edit either transfer offers or transfer details of the players leaving the club on a transfer? for example if a player is leaving in 1 month for 10m i can edit that to make it 50m, or even change the team he is going to. Hi. Suddenly getting the same problem as Tcharko and shator. I've been using the free version for the last week or so with no issues but now the players don't load in on my long term save. I started a new save and it works fine so it must be a save specific issue all of a sudden but the save was working fine yesterday. Any ideas? Happy to share the save if necessary.

@hujaps132: As a guest, definitely not because data is essentially streamed online and not in memory to be read. I tried it as a host and it worked, but others who tried it as hosts experienced something else. I suggest to avoid using it in online saves.

@shator: I've messaged you and waiting to get a link for that save. I can't replicate this in any of my saves, so will need that specific save file to investigate.

@kkengvib: I needed to expand cross-checking to both players and staff, and not have it limited to each person type. The fix will be included in the next update.

Whenever i load my save into fmle it's always showing me "1 human" loaded at the bottom, so i cant scout and search any player, only stuff and clubs.

@entigy: I assume people on the demo are skeptical about the game and don't feel like investing in it, unless they're convinced it's worth buying. I could make FMLE compatible with the demo, but struggling to see how that could benefit the user. Let me know your thoughts.

@stam... yes, before changing the last name the player did have the same name as the manager

also... i think the same thing applies to first names... it doesn't change it for that player... it changes it for all players with that first name
