@levyscfc1407: Any chance Windows is not 64-bit on your computer?
@TheGame32: You can download, install and see everything this tool can do, for free. If you're happy with what is possible, it makes sense to purchase a license to be able and save your edits.
I've messaged thanoulas (FSME author) who is finally back to development about your issue. If he doesn't reply directly, I'll follow up with a private message.
@frunkyflaps: How is it a hidden fact? It's interesting that you made an account to post that and didn't bother reading the text on this page or on the other page.
@lewismoore7: In theory, only the host *might* be able to use a tool. If you need a tool for scouting only, Genie Scout has more advanced features.
@DemiDeni: Haven't heard of such behavior before. Where did you install FMSE?
@desinterado: Do you have the latest Steam version of FM18 64-bit?
@ZakirsyahSeno:
> FMSE won't work with the demo version.
> You can try all of FMSE features for free. When you're ready to save your edits, you'll need to get a license.
> FMSE normally gets updated to be compatible with new patches within 24 hours.
> Is this editor gonna work on the demo version?
> Is it necessary to buy the license in order to start editing use of it or i can just use it without buying it?
> A new update rolled out a couple hours ago, and or is it just me or the editor won't work on the new updated version of fm18?
Thanks
Still you didn't answer me. I've sent an email but i didn't get an answer. I bought this editor, but the license link has expired. Where can I found my license??
The reason I ask is because I started a brand new game, with a new (created) club, but it is using the old training ground and youth stadium, which is odd as my team (and stadium) are quite some miles apart, and the OCD in me is kinda annoyed that it cant be changed anywhere... so this editor my only hope. I would really like to move my training ground and youth stadium closer to where my team is located.
Thanks in advance (and sorry for being awkward...).
@nikolaosaek: Grab the newest version (1.8.1.0) and try again. Check the relevant FAQ in regards to activating IGA.
Now I can't be sure why you bought a license since you can freely try FMSE and see for yourself what it can do. Perhaps you were hoping for a feature addition that'd make your investment worthwhile? Are the features you mentioned the ones you're mostly looking forward to?
@Bartdude:
Which things are missing from FMSE that you consider to be the most important? I'm genuinely interested to know because we're currently redefining the next feature additions.
I wouldn't personally classify up to 24 hours (usually much less) as waiting, but that's a given. It's a third party app, we have to react and can't prepare patch updates beforehand.
It's definitely one of the advantages, but not the only one in my book.
I'm afraid that's half true. Thanos couldn't work on FMSE for a couple of months now, sadly. Not because he has lost interest though. Life can be unexpected at times and naturally family/health/work always come first.
1st: The fmscout updated and now it has an errror
2nd: how can I enable in-game assistant? What path should I put?
